Donkey Kong country! 

Saw this on the Happy Hour last week. Looks interesting. I haven't played the other Mario vs DK games, but this is not what I expected them to be at all.
 
Edit: That music is totally from the intro of Donkey Kong Country. Come on guys.

Wasn't that Donkey Kong Country music?  Weird mash up of Rare-DKC-universe with Mario universe.

Vinny sounds like he has a cold.

The game looks like fun.
I have the first one for my GBA. you can control Mario directly.

Game looks pretty fun. The lemmings connection is obvious, get dudes you don't control to a door, but the way it plays seems pretty different from lemmings, since here you are manipulating the environment is some predefined ways and in lemmings you were having you lemmings do stuff like dig or build.
 
also they are kind of a pink-purple. Not red though.

also I think that song is from the castle hub world in Mario 64

The first type of this game was the Donkey Kong game for gameboy, which had some stuff for Super Gameboy.  Was a very awesome game.

The minis are totally making Lemmings noises.
 
Edit: Donkey Kong's an ape, Vinny. Gorillas aren't monkeys.
 
Edit spree: Cranky Kong was the original DK, Brad. This Donkey Kong is Donkey Kong Jr.

Either way, they're not red or blue. I knew it all along, color blindness is infectious and now Brad has caught it. Keep away from the Giant Bomb guys, people.

I was trying to play Medieval Games on the Wii with a colleague who is colour-blind and he couldn't figure it out at all.

In the last Mini game you can control the minis (go left, right, stop & jump.) I'm guessing you can do it here to, but Brad didn't know it.

They look fuscia pink to me.

The DK Jungle Groove music was rad.  I'll definitely pick this up at some point.  Good for the holidays.

I am colorblind but those pipes are purple.

Donkey Kong! The music is from Donkey Kong. Why? Because the minis games are an offshoot of the Gameboy version of Donkey Kong, which was like the arcade/early home console version of Donkey Kong on crack (because it turned out to be more of an action puzzler with 9 worlds). 
 
I loved the Gameboy game, but never got into the March of the Minis series because of the Lemmings similarity. It was much more fun when you had direct control over Mario and played it like a Mario platformer. I find it to be a bummer that they haven't made a sequel to the Gameboy game to this date.

How do they not recognise the original Donkey Kong music. It was also used as the title screen music for Donkey Kong Country

That was a frustrating video watch Brad screw up, also is that music they couldn't identify the rainbow ride theme from Mario 64? 
 
Also the MvDK game where you control Mario is the first one on GBA which is the best one in the series I feel.
