I was hoping they would get around to this. Its looks fine, I was most interested in the "Retro" mode, which looks good...in an odd ways.

Almost made it through that with a straight face.

Man, I missed Jeff and Vinny Quicklooks. 2,900 miles of distance be damned, you made it work. :-P

Now to just iron out a few audio quirks. I know absolutely nothing about sound design, but I seem to recall something from the Rocket League event. Did the crew sort that thing out by recording the West's half of the conversation in San Francisco, the East's half in New York, and then overlaying them? Sync up the two recordings' starting points and you'd effectively have one intact conversation... or something. Again, no real idea how Jason, Drew, and Vinny make this all work. I'm not a tech wizard. :-D

Edit addition: oh, almost forgot to overtly say "yay!" to inter-office content. I can't blame Vinny, Alex, and Dan for moving away from San Francisco, but I do miss their chemistry with Jeff, Brad, and Rorie. I think this is a great idea, and you guys even have the chops to keep the comedic timing solid despite not being in the same room. That's not an easy thing to do.

Looks like a totally solid baseball game. I'd consider getting it if I had a console.

Both the servers and the microtransactions are hot trash, but other then that the game is really great.

1080p 60fps sure is nice on the eyes.

The last thing I expected was to actually have Mars as announcer spoken location. Good on them.

For some reason I thought this would have Bakalar in it.

The Zephyrs were a AAA team in New Orleans for a while, now they're the Babycakes. Most of the team names that they were laughing at are actual Minor League teams, the Modesto Nuts for instance.

I am pretty sure RBI Baseball just continues to exist because MLB doesnt like that theres no multiplatform baseball game.

Honestly mad they didn't play the intro like they have in the past for these games. The intro for MLB The Show 2017 is simply amazing.

The rarest trophy besides the platinum for this game is "Play a complete game in 8-bit retro mode" at 1.2%. In comparison "While batting as your pitcher get a hit against an opposing pitcher with the same name"(local multiplayer is not eligible) is at 3.4%.
