Quick Look: Phoenix Wright Wii

When Mia first appeared I didn't notice any of the text...

SMELL THE PASSPORT!

I was expecting the port of the high res PC versions, but it seems they just want you to get the DS version.
 
Which would be fine if they were easy to find.

you know, i've never played one of these games, but this quicklook has totally sold me. i have a bus trip coming up and i think playing through one of these is the perfect thing to do while i sit for 4 hours.

What Phoenix Wright Wii needs is GOOD voice acting.

I heart the first Phoenix Wright so much. Probably my favorite handheld game.

I haven't really paid attention to the PW games. Shame I didn't, cause that looks fun. Want to try it out now.

Love the Ace Attorney series! Feels like ages since there's been a new one though, hopefully Ace Attorney Investigations will scratch that itch.

Now I'm going to be randomly shouting "OBJECTION!" the rest of the day.

" @Willy105: What?  So you would want to hear the character say "I was going door to door, selling newspapers when I saw a man fleeing the apartment." over and over again when you pass that screen in the cross examination because you're not quite sure what to do?  You'd want the character to repeat the same sentences over and over again as you press the same statement for more information because you're searching for a solution?

" @Willy105: You don't read every cross examination screen as they come up every single time when you've read it once.  When it comes to the later cases and you're looking for an extremely well hidden, crucial flaw in the character's testimony, you don't want to listen to the character every single time.  You want to search for that one word that will make you proceed onwards, like finding that a character said "left arm" instead of "right arm". "

" @Willy105: It would be more complex to try to progress through the game that way than simply reading through it.  And there's not a great storage capability of PW Wii because it's a Wii Ware game, it's not a disc retail game.  It's a port of the DS game, and having a slightly niche game go on to a barely used system on the Wii does not assure great sales.  I don't think Capcom would want to spend a lot of money remaking it and that's why it's so obviously the DS port. "

Awesome Quick Look. I suppose like a lot of murder mysteries it's hard to go back when you know how everything unfolds.

While I love Ace Attorney to death, I agree with Ryan. Where's our Super Ace Attorney Phoenix Wright Turbo HD Remix?

That was good fun.  It also strikes me that this is the kind of series that would have made a good Endurance Run, but since the guys are already familiar with it it probably won't happen.
