Finally another Telltale game on the 360

Seems like a case of Telltale trying to do everything except for the things they do well. Count me out. :-(

Those guys don't look old enough to have seen Jurassic Park in theaters.
 
PS. Dino-Riders and Dinosaucers are totally due for a comeback.

i hope they fix the fact that it freezes after every shot, that is completely pulling me out of any kind of immersion, also... the triceratops ran right through the girl, this game seems to have a long way to go imo, i hope this game is really good, i really enjoy telltales work.

Jurassic Rain actually sounds kinda cool, and looks fun.

Yeah, looks a little rough. The transitions, characters, and animation all could use some more work, and the voice acting isn't really all that great.
 
I'm convinced the shot transitions will be much more polished by the time it hits, but still worried about the look and animation. Dinosaurs look and move fine, from what's on display here at least, but that is the thing you have to sell, I guess.
 
Hope it sees some significant polish. Still really interested.

Looks a little rough, but looks pretty cool!

Has a lot of jank here and there but hopefully they'll fix it up.

I wonder if there is any branching in the story or if it's a CG movie with quick time events sprinkled in.  I like adventure games and puzzles, and the settings is great!  So holding out hope..

Whenever I hear somebody say "We want to make it feel like..." I immediately autocomplete to "but we have no clue how to do that so we just copied some old game concept and try to sell it as new" 
 
This game looks stilted, the dialogue is boring and the interface is late 90s point/click style.

It's not coming out for a month or two, and TT's release model means they're far from done with this yet. Some of the issues should be fixed, but remember - budget game.

Telltale has yet to fail to deliver, so I'm excited. Consider me sold.

i don't like what i'm seeing

I'm not impressed. I dont think Telltale should move into more realism in their characters and stick to animated ones. The animations look janky and the gameplay boring. Kinda looks like a Gamecube game because they are trying to make real and less cartoony using the same Telltale engine.
 
Hopefully this is just a work in progress.

As clunky certain stuff looks, after Back to the Future, I'm loving these more movie-based games they're doing. Maybe they can do an awesome Alien one.

Triceratops would fuck up T-Rex, but both dinosaurs have such thick skin, how could they penetrate one another?

This looks so good. People, have faith! Obviously this game is still a few months out from release, any rough edges can get ironed out. While some of their games might not be everyone's cup of tea, Tell Tale tend to make quality games. I'm happy to see the direction this has taken and it's obviously being made by people who love the first movie.

The character models, particularly the facial animation, needs a ton of work.

Haha, this is great. And I thought something had happened to Brad because of his Twitter post a few days ago.

This game is looking like a lot of fun. I know they've still got time but they need to reduce the loading time between sequences as it's kind of jarring and takes you out of the moment.

Telltale really needs to upgrade their engine. Those pauses between scenes are horrible, especially when used for action set pieces. Also, after playing BTTF, the way characters move and animate in their games are also pretty bad at points.

They need to smooth out those cuts and the stop/start animation quite a bit, but it looks like it could be neat.  Bonus points for Mr. DNA on the continue screen.

I couldn't resist watching the "shish-kebab" a few times.  The sort of game where I enjoy watching the characters die.  Muhahaha.

Jurassic Park is one of my favorite movies of all time, but I just don't know if Telltale is the right developer for this project. 
 
The keep mentioning Heavy Rain as their gameplay inspiration but unlike HR I don't feel the same kind of urgency or panic when I see these QTEs. They are too static and slow imo. They need to be faster and simply more terrifying.

Looks like it could be fun but they'd better fix the glaring number of flaws I can see in this.

I get that Telltale has never been about graphical power, but the animation and hitchy scene transitions are a deal breaker. I honestly don't see how you can get immersed in character relationships when the characters themselves look worse than most animations. 
 
And for the record, I'm not trying to shit on the game, but I don't see how they can make substantial improvements by April.

Wow, I wasn't aware Giant Bomb was full of so many blind people. That's the only way I can understand all the hate this game is getting. I for one can't wait.
