Haven't watched the video yet, but I tried this myself not too long ago. It's remarkably awful. I don't think anybody who worked on the project actually knew how to make a game because none of the gameplay systems mesh, none of the controls feel fluid, and the art style wasn't really made to be rendered in 3D.
 
You're better off sticking to the free flash game, though even that won't win any awards for clever game design - but at least it's like, somewhat playable.

I really don't see how they couldn't figure out that boss battle.

This game does not look good. The combat and platforming look real unresponsive.

A shame that making a good modern platformer seems to elude most developers. Nintendo did well by Mario with 3D Land. I haven't played Rochard yet, but I'm thinking it looks pretty good as well. This just seems boring and annoying to play.

Definitely was curious about this & going to pick it up as the art style looks great despite the game being a simple platformer.

When they fell through the ground it reminded me of that Rocky game for the NES (see the AVGN review of it).

Art style seems like a mash-up of Tim Burton/Zelda/LittleBigPlanet.

Having watched the quicklook now, Brad and Vinny were definitely... polite. Scarygirl is not a good game. It feels like the kind of "my first game" a 14 year old would make.

That boss battle looked terrible with all the shaky cam and bad frame rate.

Meh, this doesn't interest me at all... but I thought the rabbit's animations were sooo much better than the girl's. I would be slightly more likely to try this game if the rabbit was the main dude.

This looks pretty neat. Almost looks like Klonoa to me on how the levels are set up.

Not a very flattering quick look. I've been playing this and enjoying it but to only watch this video, I'd think it had some major issues. Brad, as he's wont to do, makes the game look a whole lot jankier to control than it actually is. It's amazing how bad he and Ryan are at paying attention to how to play a game.

Not saying it's a perfect 10 but it's definitely better than this QL paints it as being.

First time I've heard of this game but I love the rabbit guru.

Also killing the babies made the mother stomp, triggering the boulder, oldest trick in the book.

I think secretly Giant Bomb crew just likes to troll everyone. It happens so often that there's no other explanation.

I like this look a lot seems like a fun game, i'll probably pick this up this weekend.
