It is nice to see a shootem-up that isn't as bullet hell-y as they usually are.

The mobile version is pretty good. But the PC version (of the previous game) they released is way better, just hope they release this version on PC as well (doesn't look like it though).

I played this months ago, and it looks like this was released sometime last year, according to Steam. Not sure why they're just getting around to looking at it now, but as far as top-down shooters go, this is a pretty good one. :)

Edit: Whoops, just realized this just came out on PSN.

Less than a minute into the Quick Look, Brad and Dan stated that this game is available on Steam (and Sony platforms).

The art style of this game is cool, but it drives me nuts that the fucking stars, powerups, and cutsey upgrades obscure the bullets and missiles that you're supposed to, you know, avoid.

Where is my 23rd anniversary edition of Raiden II running on Unreal 4?

@dasakamov: Sky Force Reloaded is the game I was referring to - as in coming to PC. It was on Greenlight as of March I believe and I think it was approved. Anniversary is on Steam yes, I got mixed up on the games lol

This is my kind of bullet hell. The upgrade system looks pretty decent, as well. Just grindy enough for me.

A REAL quick look!

For a 10 minute video this thing probably has the most bang-for-buck positivism I've seen in a long while.

Looks cool enough, but I guess I'll hold off on buying it at least for while. More than likely it will show up on PS Plus sooner rather then later anyway.

Hmm I heard the grind is real in this game. Wonder how true that is.

The drop shadows of the ships over the background look so unbelievably awful in this game, like it's toys over a printout of a jungle or whatever rather than ships in the airspace of a place with actual topography.

It also just overall seems like a boring one of these, but I do like my bullets to be hellish.

@rasrimra: Oh, the grind is real. That's why I stopped playing it before getting to the last stage.
I can conquer shooters, but this one... bleck. It's just playing the same stages over and over again.

Seems pretty tepid compared to many shumps and bullet hell. They got them dang cards in it.....
