I picked this up a couple of days ago, it's good fun. It's on sale on Steam for another day for $6.65, which is a steal if you ask me. Even the full retail, $9, is good for what you get. If it looks fun to you, don't hesitate to pick it up.

I am frankly surprised by the positivity in these here comments, to me the game looks like something you could pick up on your phone for free. I like the art style, but even at the low price this looks like a waste of time. To each his own I guess, I hate to be this negative about it but I need to speak my mind! Also maybe part of it is me not being a fan of the genre (horror movies and slashers specificaly).

No, those Rob Zombie Halloween movies suck, and most of his films are terrible as well.

It's sooo frustrating to watch QLs of puzzle games when you have figured out the solution and the GB crew hasn't.

I didn't actually notice Drew chiming in at first because I was mentally saying to myself "Up and round".

Yeah, the best part of this QL is Drew being the audience surrogate and telling Jason and Dan how to solve one of the maps.

Best horror movie ever is Eraserhead.

My favorite horror movie of all time is Re-Animator. Smart, funny, inventively gory, and liberal with the full frontal nudity irrespective of gender.

Original John Carpenter Halloween is a close second. Jason has excellent taste. Brilliant opening scene. Brilliant ending. Donald Pleasence hamming it up through the middle!

I love Halloween. Just that use of a late fall afternoon to set the table. Not a dark and stormy night (well at least in the main setting), but an otherwise fun fall day at the start of a school year. That particular lighting as the nights are getting longer all the trees are changing, perfectly spooky.

And then that early scene with the laundry drying outside in the day, and the creation of dread with the music and camera motion darting through the sheets, for it all to be a fakeout...except it wasn't. It's great.

More Dan--looks like I'll be skipping this one. It's funny how your opinions change over time, and mine has gone from bemused curiosity to rather avoid. Nothing personal, I just can't listen to any more Dan food rants, stuff everyone should know question times, and Dan's win against anxiety. Don't misunderstand, I concur Dan does a lot of good and shows genuine curiosity despite having a scarily elementary understanding of the basic mechanics of life, but his father clearly shares responsibility on that as well. I know I'm not alone. I have listened to comments from earlier colleagues that give me a sense that while no-one can dislike Dan; however, they breathe a sigh of relief when he's not around. Just a personal opinion that in no way reflects upon his abilities as a games journalist, but being a "personality" based website puts the focus squarely on such. Best of luck to his moving to New York.

Two things high up on my longtime list of loves are 80s horror and puzzle games. This thing combines them into something really special, beyond anything I expected-- I'm home sick on Halloween and had like the hugest smile for the 2 hours I played this so far. Also I haven't barfed since purchase, triple mega ultra recommend.

Horror movies are my favorite genre and one of my probably favorites is Triangle from a few years ago but 2016 had some great horror movies like Krampus was absolutely phenomenal and When Animals Dream was good too. Give me more horror but not the conjuring stuff becuase itis bad.

I generally hate these kinds of puzzle game, but this looks so charming, I might have to get it after all.

Personal favourite horror movies: In The Mouth of Madness, Hellraiser, The Thing, Poltergeist, BrainDead and Supsiria.

Thanks for the look. I got this last night, loaded it up on the laptop, and was playing it all night while in costume posted up near the door as I waited for kiddos to pass out candy to. The mechanics they add with each "movie" keeps it fresh.

This is a pretty cool little horror theme game. It reminds me of BroForce with the classic horror film references.

Too many good horror films out there but here are some of my favorites: Call of Cthulhu/Whisperer in Darkness (H.P. Lovecraft great translations into film), The Thing from the 1980s, Cabin in the Woods, In the Mouth of Madness, Horror of Dracula (still one of the best for Dracula), original Halloween/Friday the 13th/Nightmare on Elm Street (for slasher films), Phenomenon/Susperia (Dario Argento classics), the Howling/Ginger Snaps 3 (werewolf goodness), Alien/Aliens, Uzumaki, They Live, the original Haunting from the 1960s. For TV, Friday the 13th the series (cursed antiques work wonders plus can keep going with that idea for a while), & Kolchak from the 1970s. Might think of more but at the moment this is all I can think of.

I'm sold on getting this game, looks spooky & fun, thanks GB crew!
