I feel like it's been quite a while since we saw a lot of these 'Not Portal' games. But apparently QUBE got a sequel recently, and this little number is reminding me of Quantum Conundrum for all it's old-house vibes.

The close door buttons haven't been functional in modern elevators for a while now. Try it yourself in an elevator made within the last 20 years. Time it without hitting the button, then when pressing it.

Elevators in a hotel should be in the lobby! The poor reception staff would have to give out maps every time someone checks in.

Now if it's a hospital like the glitches near the end seem to imply, that makes more sense because navigating hospitals is a nightmare.

@brad She sounds Home Counties to me. But Ben was talking over her a lot, so I could be wrong.

Also the Home Counties cover a huge area, so that’s probably not helpful, but she doesn’t have a distinct regional accent that would indicate she’s from the north, the east, the west country or the midlands. And she’s certainly not from Scotland, Ulster or Wales.

this is the least interesting distillation of "that game" ive seen yet, and the fact that you can fail and have to restart to me seems terribly lazy on the devs part and would fill me with doubt during challenging puzzles.

@brad Sounds like she has an Estuary Accent. It's not full London Cockney, but not RP, either.

Really liked this Quick Look, it wasn't for a major release and it felt both laidback and informative. It introduced me to a game that I didn't knew of and made me interested in it enough to put it on my wishlist. We need more Quick Looks like this!

I hope the game goes to crazy places on the story in the end and the puzzles overall are fun instead of frustrating, because this seems like a nice game to play for someone who is into these type of "portal-esque test chamber" things.
