Quick Look: Throwback: Incredible Crisis

Okay, this is a game I need to play. This is right up my alley.

"You should just call these Throwbacks. That's a pretty catchy name. Screw the Quick Look part. This way QLs are new games, and Throwbacks older ones. Simple and easy. Unless of course you guys wanna keep them together. "

Having recently replayed Sly Cooper  it seems as though a lot of older games are very aggressive in their difficulty, with lives systems. one hit kills and such, but none of us perceived them to be especially hard at the time maybe newer games have made us soft, but if Incredible Crisis was to come out today with all it's design eccentricities it would probably be considered an unfairly/poorly made game.

Really really enjoyed this one.

The way the protagonist yells "Uuuuweeeeeeeeeeehhh!" it the way I propose we pronounce director Uwe Bolls name from now on.

this was awesome.

This pretty much sums up my time with Incredible Crisis.  My old roommate had this game, and the progression of playing it went like this:  "This game is so awesome! (ten minutes go by) Fuck this goddamn game!"  I still loved it, though.

This is just completely crazy. I love it! I doubt that I could put up with the excessive memorization and difficulty though - that's only fun for me in cases where I have actual choice regarding my strategy to solve problems...

My friend and I played this game together, and we took turns playing it to see who could get through the challenges.  The very last challenge was so hard it took both of us on 1 controller to beat it.  Great Game

Game looks ridiculous, but it was pretty hilarious at the end there - keep the throwbacks coming!

I remember playing the demo level (the hurdle minigame where you run from the ball) and not lasting 15 seconds, this game is so hard.

One of my Favorite games on the PSone. 

Man, I love this game so much.  Back in 2001, during my friend's Bar-Mitzvah party, we hooked up a PS1 to a projector and all piled around a wall watching him play Incredible Crisis.  It was so awesome it's unbelievable. 
 
Please do more Quick Look Throwbacks, or Quick Looks of C/D-level games guys.  Crash Time and B-Boy are still some of my favorite QLs on the site!

Wow the graphics on this game look amazing for a PS1 game. 
And why do they suck so much at the dancing part?  Geez... its like watching your little brother play and fuck it up.  GImme that controller! 
This game looks annoying, man, that last part with that guy crying.  Ugh, sometimes I wonder what Japanese people are thinking.

I just bought this a month ago off ebay for a few dollars.
