Quick Look: Throwback: Indigo Prophecy

I bought this on Steam on sale, and then never played it :S

QL made me download this.

I know it has its flaws, but I wish this was available on PS3. After really enjoying Heavy Rain, I'd love another game in that genre.

It really grossed me out when you didn't try to wash your hands after sticking them in the trash like that.

They should bring back this video player.

Indigo Prophecy has one of the strongest, most compelling openings I've ever seen in a game and a pretty solid middle, but the story completely flies off the rails and right into crazy town in the last several hours. If Heavy Rain is what brought you to this game and you go in expecting a similarly grounded-in-reality (relatively speaking) plot, you're going to be in for quite the rude awakening.

Yeah, the ending is pretty crazy.

I didn't know Angelo Baldamenti did the music for this. Huh. In case you guys are wondering he's done all of the music for David Lynch's movies since Blue Velvet. ...huh. Don't know what else to say about that.

Ooh, an Angelo Badalamenti soundtrack? Maybe I should finally play this...

I coulda sword there was a video of some of the staff watching that absolutely bananas helicopter scene.

I love this game, crazy ending and all.

In my experience, a bit tough to have a snowstorm resulting in piled up snow at 40 degrees F, 8 degrees above freezing.

Ironic that you brought this thread back from the dead, much like the protagonist, and the game!

I'm a scifi fan so i loved everything about this game when i played it lol. All the crazy shit and all. Even though heavy rain was more grounded in "reality" the plot was so bad and the voice acting was so terrible it was even more unrealistic than this game. Maybe since this game is so old i dont' remember how bad the voice acting is though, i may go back through it one day.

I LOVED the first half. so unique. The 2nd half though... I don't know which drugs the devs were enjoying.

I should go back and finish this
