I have to say I will not play this 'Re-shell' because I had such great memories playing this on the SNES.

I love me some four player Quick Look! I almost wish that they had ported the SNES game and added online instead of completely redoing the art assets, though.

I like how this Quicklook ends with everyone dropping their controllers, getting up and leaving.

You can play just as well when the TV screen goes out.  That's all you need to know about the depth of the turtle arcade games.  (And yet I bought the first one through a weird Amazon sale for $3 and got my money's worth)

At the 2 minute mark, we hear the first sneeze in Quick Look history.

Man, this really doesn't look that good.  In this case, maybe they should've just stuck with the sprites.
 
I had a Time Out near me in Arlington Heights, IL.

The exclamation mark just lets you know where you are on the screen in case you get lost in the chaos. It's not for voice chat >_<
 
Also, this is a great game. Jeff needs to stop hating on brawlers. All he does is hate.

Finally back in the swing of things... as anti-climactic as they may be, i'll take it.

This game sucks. I'd rather play the original arcade version or SNES version. In this new version there's not enough spacing between the characters, the levels seem so cramped, the graphics are beyond fake, and the music sucks. I'd rather load up some Mutation Nation for the Neo-Geo... you know what, I'll go play that now.

And I used to like Beat-em-ups. There was a time when Final Fight was basically all I played.

They should have played through the entire game in that time.

I actually kinda like it. I loved the SNES version, so I'm only disappointed it wasn't a remake of that. The music is terrible, but I like the graphics. Just different tastes, I suppose. The game is for people who loved the original, hence the staff feel nothing for it because they clearly didn't spend much time on it back in the day.

Why doesn't this have the versus mode from the SNES version?

I don't think that there's anything inherently broken about the beat 'em up genre, but Turtles in Time, looking back on it, just wasn't that great. It was great when you were a kid, and the graphics for that time were really colourful and cool looking, but now... eeeeeeehh, it's not enough.

I loved the super Nintendo version and if it was just a port with 4player online i would totally buy it but I don't really like the new sounds and the graphics and it takes alot away from the nostalgia that i was going to buy this for.

I loved how they were slashing at the air in beginning for about 15 second, unaware that there were no enemies. Honestly, I don't see this game being that great so I will pass.

Was Brad implying Bebop and Rocksteady aren't present? Is that some weird licensing thang or were they caught at one of Gary Glitters harems and hastily removed from TMNT canon? The only thing I remember about the coin-op is those two running into walls and Bart whacking Magneto with a skateboard.

Says something about the game that the conversation about Leonardo's trip to pussytown is the highlight of this Quck Look. Then again, its the Giantbomb crew takling bout random shit as usual which is always the highlight.
