Besides, how dumb is this - every single solution consists of either a. bunching up your body or b. stretching out your arms sideways. Some game I'd say, what magnificent gameplay.

Sadly, this was about the most "fun" looking Kinect game I've seen. That is actually saying something, considering the rest of the tripe that has come out for it.

It's possible to do it without dedicated hardware, the dedicated hardware just helps take the load off. Also, it can be used to just to simple physics. You can download "physx demos" that are just knocking static meshes around. Maybe a bit of cloth/ deformation stuff. It isn't all crazy numbers of physically siimulated particles. Though I haven't watched this so who knows? it's a pretty bad physics engine if you aren't going to take advantage of what it can really do.
