I played the beta. It was kind of fun, so I might try this for real.

Nice i put so much time in the beta, it was unbalanced but still fun.

Can't wait to give this a shot.. craziness and all...

yay, I was worried they weren't going to quick look this after all. I'd much rather see quick looks for weird, janky (but innovative and incredibly creative) indie games than a bunch of boring playing it safe AAA dross (looking at you, re 6)

Not having a single-player mode makes me sad.

This looks terrible! Mount & Blade without any sort of charm to it.

For the video, yeah I can understand. I've just never understood the point really when youre playing by yourself. Every few years I upgrade my PC/get a new one if needed and they're always purely top of the line gaming rigs I put together. I still never put vertical sync on just because it I never really cared about screen tearing and even if it's only slightly less taxing on my pc then why not keep it off. Thats just me though.

if this looks good to you i suggest getting mount & blade warband if you havnt already game is a million times better

There's a lot of flaws to this game, but it's horribly addictive despite that. It's a lot of fun. You have to take your lumps and get past the learning curve, but once you "get it" you'll be competitive and it's a lot better.

I'm with you Dave, Mount & Blade single-player is super dope.

I want to play this.

Good QL. Only thing really missing from it was the weapon customization, but that's alright.

The Maryland flag is cool, but Virginia has a lady with a boob hanging out, standing on top of a dead guy. Not even kidding.

I've heard from others that the multiplayer servers are completely borked and the game is near-unplayable at the moment. On to of that the combat seems a lot less realistic and a lot faster-paced and more acton-ish than Mount & Blade's... interesting, but I'm not sure I'm too interested in a multiplayer-only Mount & Blade anyway. On top of that, Fatshark do not have a good track record (all their previous games had good ideas but bad/underdeveloped execution, especially Krater), so I think I'll stick with Mount & Blade mods for now.

Also, does this game have sieges and stuff? And what's the player limit? In Mount & Blade you had some huge battles going on, but I don't know about this one.

I wish I was like you. When there's tearing I see nothing but the tearing. I cannot stand it.

I'd take 30 fps over 60 with tearing.

Great stuff, I'm very pleased you chose to QL this game. Very intersting title and well worth showing off. Obviously it's cool to actually have some Drew and Dave action again as well, especially since it's perfect for these types of odd games.

Way back in the first beta phase for Mount & Blade I too played exclusively singleplayer. I wouldn't say I loved it but it certainly is fascinating and unique and therefore worth checking out. It'll be good to see if this (sub-)genre can make it to a really polished version that is a little more accessible but not lacking the intense edge of a rather niche title. I sure hope this'll come to pass.

Really wish they had done a demo with this game. Looks interesting, and if the combat actually feels good it could be great. But it seems like something that could be very polarizing and I don't wanna buy it just to discover I hate the gameplay.

I feel like this game was rushed. I played since the beta and I finally just decided to give up on this game. They could have benefited a few more months in development because right now the game is heavily unbalanced.

• The perks can make heavily armored knights can run faster that lightly armored bowmen. Because they use a perk that lowers weight of apparel and weapons. If they built the knight like the default knight they can reach top speed faster and they accelerate faster (The men are basically like trains when it comes to acceleration and speed).
• There is little reason to wear light or medium armor because anything can easily penetrate it.
• Heavy armor blocks almost all weapons.
• People don't really work as a team if you just join some public lobby.
• People with daggers can hit you fast and repeatedly and if you get hit you can even ready-up your swing; so they can kill you by simply following you can spamming hits.
• The people that pre-ordered this game have leveled up near the max since they got a week head start.
• Bows and Crossbows have been nerfed since the beta. Now They take many hits to kill knights.

I pretty much loath this game. It's not mount and blade with better graphics. It mount and blade that has been combined with Call of Duty (perks) and Battlefield (squad system and buffs). The game isn't balanced like Napoleonic Wars. /rant

Fun game it has some issues with balance but what game doesn't defiantly worth the 29 bucks.

Mount and Blade Warband is better, just a shame I cannot find any games without having to have addons now.

Also I almost went insane because of the "USB device disconnected" sounds, cause I always thought they came from my system.

So does this have anything to do with a monarchy of roses?
