God, this game was cool the first time they looked at it, and it has only gotten better!

There need to be about 10,000% more western games.

The Ryckert Cackles Per Minute (RCPMs) are aplenty in this one.

To expand on what AMyggen said, the retail version features new explorable areas, new quests, new characters, new weapons, and new music (to an already great soundtrack). I consider the Adult Swim browser version to be more like a demo to this, a full product.

I forgot they even did a QL of the browser one. It does seem right up Jeff's alley -- a combination Zelda/Law of the West spiritual successor.

Also the whole mechanic for finding The Man Who What Were Responsible For The Murderin' is similar to some of the Carmen Sandiego games.

Aw, for some reason when they were talking about this game I thought it was a sequel to The Real Texas. That game was cool and Legend of Zelda-esque as well.

It's a real shame @danryckert didn't go around killing every single person in Clintville. If you do the director of the "movie" (as in, the Western you're playing) goes "OH MY GOD YOU'RE MASSACRING EVERYONE", the area then turns itself into a full movie set and you get essentially a horde mode with dozens of "set members" coming after you, if you manage to beat it, the director gives up and lets you kill him. This leads to a CNN news broadcast of an actor (you) going crazy and killing everyone in the shooting of the movie.

So I guess that's the answer to @jeff 's question on how the game ends if you try to shoot everyone. You don't even need to kill the culprit to beat this game.

That's actually one of the coolest things that this Quick Look failed to demonstrate, there are quite a lot of different endings. Not only is the identity of the killer of your family randomized, but depending on your choices and actions throughout the game, so is the identity of whoever hired the killer. There are also a lot of wacky endings like the one I posted above and one where the game goes Tyler Durden on you and you were the killer all along. I'm pretty sure that ending happens if you just go around hunting for the killer without actually completing any of the meaningful questlines

Disappointed they didn't show off co-op since it popped up a few times.

I mean, there's no way of knowing who all of the people he did shoot were.

Given that you can fire in half as many directions as Binding of Isaac, I thought it would only be logical that Jeff would like this half as much :P

This is a pretty cool game. I like the freedom it gives you.

Cool game, but I'll holdout for a PS4 version.

Would have liked to seen some of the game played "right" and have a quest or two turned in opposed to the "Vinny" way to playing a game lol.
