You're right, they should add Warren to the mix.

Clearly you two need to ditch the white board and markers and go with "The Wall of Fighters", ala Top Gear, where you put the games in ascending order using sticky notes. That way you can fudge around with your choices much easier, and the designated "Wall of Fighters" column will look snazzy, too.

The Critical Blow character select music is amazing.

Power Moves! I didn't remember this game until I saw the teleporting kabuki guy. I think I played a lot of that, actually, it's just kabuki dude was the only character who stuck with me for whatever reason.

Anyway, this examination of a dubious SNES fighter gives me hope that Doomsday Warrior and Hey Punk! Are You Tuff E Nuff? won't be far behind

This is one of my favourite features of the site. Growing up I had such an affinity to the fighting game genre and I love going back to all the random games that came out then trying to be in the big leagues. And I love how Jeff has found his fighting game compadre with Jason, Brad was there but Jason brings more of the feels.

Warren is my new favorite fighting game character.

You guys should play Rival Schools on this show soon.

@knightdehumidifier: I've been sayign this for awhile. I think they need something similar to this or the fastest lap board. It seems silly to keep having to re-write what goes where on that tiny whiteboard they have.

Warren did not deserve to be in the worst fighting game of all time. I think they have room for two more games on the board they have now before they have to get a new one.

Salty Bet went down mid-tournament so I was all "oh, I wonder if there's anything new on Giant Bomb" and this wholly appropriate Salty Bet replacement was waiting for me. CAN'T WAIT.

Holy crap this Critical Blow game looks great.

Looking forward to when they inevitably hit Eternal Champions: Challenge from the Dark Side. Assuming they'll just spend an hour trying to do all the finishing moves. Sharks and pterodactyls and Tommy Guns and stuff.

Deadly Moves was, no joke, a multiple renter for me. Fighting game hysteria was just beginning, and I guess I couldn't get enough. I did like the idea of gaining stats for fighting. but yeah, that basically compensates for a crappy game. The tunes were rocking, at least, on the Genesis version.
