I am irrationally angry about Ben remapping the controls. This disrupts the Science.

I'm cool with Capcom vs Capcom. I'm more partial to Capcom vs The World. All hands on deck. License whoever you can get, like Smash Bros.

Honestly though? Sega already has a long running franchise with established buisness partners; Just make a Project X Zone fighting game. The roster in those games across Capcom, Namco, Sega and Nintendo is already stacked. Plus they've made five games in that "series" seems like they'd all be down for another.

Maybe you know but you can just download completed saves from gamefaqs or whatever to get unlocked characters going forward. There are ways to get them onto a real memory card too.

I accuse these supposedly upstanding men of science of the worst crime imaginable: bias! There's no way Fight Club is worse than that DBZ game. It could be second worst for all I care, but Ben let his distaste for Fight Club colour his opinions. FOR SHAME!

The Fight Club segment was one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. Fight Club 2 (PS4. XB) is much improved, however.

I agree that a full unlocked save is more fair. Most fighters have the old school you get everything from the begining no progression stuff. But some of the best games have unlocked material (levels, chars, modes, etc) that make them far better contenders. Ill say it again power stone 2 will get the snuff but with a fully 121 unlocked roster and the psp extra characters youd have a real contender even thoug the game isnt very popular and not niche enough for the cult status. I also think smash bros will be super high on the list begrudgingly im not a fan...the controller doesnt help but i could never fall in love with smash like other people. And its not a kingdom hearts like thing of Oh i dont like the characters mixing or have no fondness. I love that stuff just dont like the gameplay. Doesnt help that every college doorm plays those games like fifa and Call of duty.

Still think dbz final bout will win the worst. I was a kid and read bad reviews of it...ignored it as every die hard little kid those days did and brought it day one. walked home popped it in and never in my life did i play a game so bad i returned it the same day to get 1/4 my money back in less then 20 minutes. These days i would argue for all of it but i was a kid and didnt know better. That game was awful. ET levels of bad. id rather play bubsy. also f u gamestop you ripped me off also my cousin. he traded 11 games for 7 bucks trade in give me a break.

Here is a suggestion for a spin-off/supplemental: Ranking of Players

Every time a newnº1 game is picked, you guys could make a mini-tournament with Ben, Jeff and Jason. Maybe a round-robin followed by a best of 5 for the finals? This way we can always know who is the best player at the best fighting game. For science, of course.

Fun fact, the fight club game ruined the ending of the Fight Club movie for me. I just rented it, having never seen the movie. Also I had a modded XBOX and if you backup this game IT KNOWS and makes you play a Bob with infinite health and crazy damage.

I await the day they find the magical game that is somehow better than Fight Club and worse than that DBZ game

Capcom Fighting Evolution is exactly what I wanted BlazBlue Cross Tag to be: characters from multiple fighting game franchises that retain their unique mechanics and controls in the same game. Since ArcSys games are all pretty similar on a base level, I figured that this would be a no-brainer. Opting to develop a brand new system for Cross Tag rather than mashing everything together is (probably?) the more sensible, but less interesting, choice.

This was recorded before E3 right? I kinda doubt they managed to build everything back up so soon.

Ben is out of his mind; tuna is wonderful. Put some pickle and mustard in there, it's great!

That being said, he did play two hours of that Fight Club game; I'm not sure he was in his right mind after that.

Can I suggest non- Capcom X-Men fighting games. Either X-Men Mutant Academy 2 or X-Men Next Dimension. Both were developed by Paradox. I think Mutant Academy 2 has a better roster though including Professor X and Spider-man

I have no opinion on Ben's remapping of the control, but he is right about the "four fingers on the shoulders" option being evil.

why do people say anything is the rightg way to do anything these days ... do it how you want, saying how to hold a controller is absolutely ludicrous and there is way worse things to be rage filled about like they didn't announce a new mortal kombat whats up with that

I've played through the story mode in Fight Club no more than a year ago. Don't ask me why I did it. It is the Ingrid of fighting game story modes.
