Hyper Dimension is legit and was, like, the only good DBZ fighting game until FighterZ rolled around (Super Dragon Ball Z is also good fun). Curious to see how it ranks.

Inspired by both Ranking of Fighters and also of the ongoing debate on the oversexuality of female fighting game characters, how about some actual research into finding out which character indeed has the biggest bust size? I call it, "Ranking of Fighters Busts"

Since people like to call certain characters "pure fanservice" let's see just how fan-servicey they are and see which franchises over-represent busty female fighting characters? Every figure you see in this chart is indeed canonical, gotten from the legit BWH measurements found in various art books or even the websites of the fighting games themselves. The only thing that's not 100% canon is the cup sizes which I did via estimate basing them on various JAV models (since in Japan they measure busts completely differently than anywhere else, so actual Japanese models are the only ones I have to go on for reference)

For those curious, in Japan unlike the rest of the world when they measure bust size they do it over the breast, as opposed to the United States/UK where bust size is determined by measuring under the breast and the actual breast is a different stat. This is why I am unable to input certain characters from Western franchises like "Skull Girls" despite having their measurements out there because it requires way more actual conversions than I care to do. Thus the quickest way to determine which fighting game character has the biggest breasts is to simple look at the Japanese "bust" measurement in centimeters.

@sub_o: I was thinking the same thing. That PS1 Jojo game has a great story mode in it too.

I mainly remember Hyper Dimension for being the source of so many sprites and backgrounds for late 90s RPG Maker games based on DBZ.

Bold of them to stick with canon and make the Outer Senshi so much cooler than the main crew.

Hyper dimension will always be remember fondly by many as that game that go super hyped in the emulator age along with endless dual.

I agree with jeff on the game though how it just doesn't feel very good. The game looks good but its paced weirdly. If they play any more of these older games they are only gonna appreciate fighterz even more

Jupiter is very good, but Uranus is clearly the best. She has a sweet sword! And looks good in a suit!

Edit: I also just realized this episode is literally my TV before school from when I was in elementary school. Original Canadian DBZ dub and the bad DIC Sailor Moon dub back to back.

It's worth noting that Viz has done a new, uncut, Sailor Moon dub that is VERY good and all on Hulu.

Boy that Dragonball Z game is pretty terrible

Hyper Fighting's system of combining health and energy is something I'm sad didn't catch on, but also understand why it didn't. Especially for DBZ games.

It shouldn't have become standard, but it's a VERY interesting idea, especially for Dragon Ball Z where people using "big moves" often results in their deteriorating health.

Also the graphics blew my mind and, much like Ultimate Battle 22/27, I thought it RULED as a kid...good thing BOTH OF THEM TOTALLY HOLD UP JUST AS WELL.

Count me in thinking Sailor Jupiter was the best. Before she even turns into a Sailor Scout she's beating up grown men and gorilla pressing freaking monsters. Having said that I might say Sailor Mars has the best shoes.

PS1 games I still want to see ranked: Psychic Force, VS, Rise of Robots, Ehrgeiz, Tobal No.1, Destrega.
