That was funny, the guys were not expecting the show to be that. They're like: sooo... no videogames, mhm... okay... :)))))

I respect the efforts at finding new avenues of content to expose folks to, and this seems like it could have been an interesting show, but I watched about 4 minutes of the first episode and had to stop, the host's "podcast" affectation is something I can't stand and was outright irritating; so I came over to this video to hear the show pitch and now also can't tell if this is all a joke or not...? I want to keep supporting Jeff (have been following him since ~2004) and Giant Bomb, but between this and Albummer totally not landing for me, as well as just my disinterest in Grub Snacks and the new Ranking of Evil, I'm not sure how much of this site is even still worth my time and attention. I'm sorry to have to say that.

@amphetama: If you meant finished this video, yes I did and now get that the whole thing is definitely a joke, given Jeff’s line of “we’ll talk after the show.” No way would that stay in if this whole thing weren’t a joke.

But as for the actual first episode, no I won’t go back and finish that, I don’t want to waste my time on things that are irritating even if they are a joke; I’m pretty sure it was the GB crew themselves who many times have said something along the lines of, “if you’re blatantly doing something in a shit way in order to make fun of something being done in a shit way, you are still just being shitty.”

I just want to put it out there that I really enjoyed the show! It’s fun and weird!

My hot take is that this whole thing is one of the most Giant Bomb things that Giant Bomb has ever done.

If The Very Online Show has taught me anything, it's to challenge the veracity of everything you see.

Shit... I didn't see this until after I saw episode 1, and they still got me... I am so excited for this to continue XD
