WOPR is definitely an AI. If Vinny's question is if it is fully aware, I think it is. The movie actually shows it's advancement from just a tool to something that takes advantage of external resources to pursue its internal goals. It's not as sophisticated as, say, Cortana, but I would consider it sentient.

Also, WarGames is great. If Vinny is showing it to his kids, they're getting the right sci-fi education! I loved that movie and Flight of the Navigator when I was young.

After how amazing these RE2 and RE3 playthroughs have been, you have to give the people what they want, finishing RE7. I know it scared you back in VR on that one playdate but RE7 is fantastic.

The music in the underground lab was really cool. It had hints of Tubular Bells. A shame that the rest of the music isn't as memorable.

Abby seems to have completely forgotten about the dodge mechanic. Not that it made much of difference in the end. Lol

I’m with Vinny - for a super bio weapon Nemesis is really bad at what it’s made to do. Not only has Nemesis failed to kill Jill, ostensibly a regular human woman, but he’s set fires and destroyed a bunch of shit along the way.

I COMPLETELY agree with this! I really want to see a full RE7 playthrough with Abby! RE7 has some great puzzles, so I know she will ultimately enjoy it.

He falls victim to what the plot requires. Like of course if he was supposed to just be after S.T.A.R.S. members, why would he kill Tyrell when Jill is right th...Ohhhhh...guys...I think Nemesis might be racist.

If I was a member of the board in Umbrella then Q4 comes around I would have some serious questions about the long term profitability of the Nemesis program!

Good point. Have we ever been introduced to any higher-ups in Umbrella? All the games seem to suggest that they hire scientists, pay off police and officials, etc, but to my knowledge we never have gotten to the actual people in charge. I could imagine an RE game that finally has someone equivalent to G-Man in Half-Life. But maybe that's on purpose. Like if you defeated the people in charge, the series would be over. Maybe I'm wrong, though. I never played RE 5 or 6.

In my head canon, Nemesis becomes more and more consumed by the thrill of the pursuit itself and can't resist toying with his prey. (And also that Jill is actually the really terrifying super bioweapon all along.)

Yeah I really hope Abby plays through all of 7 on a stream.

Also, Dead Space.

@shaunsharky: The head of Umbrella is Albert Wesker. Or you're just supposed to believe that. Then again he dies in 5. I haven't played 6 or 7 so I don't know how that all is retconned.
