To be fair, this week and the coming or prior eps or most of part 1 of this season aren't the most entertaining of the two parts. Were like in act 2 or so of the overall story and if you're not in love with spinning wheels like me, then I can see why the crew slowed down a bit. That said. Like the last half shows the author could always write super compelling fights, he's just sometimes done for time, given his detailed art and weekly release and competition at the time. I think the crew still keeps up good spirits, unlike the net where everything is trash, mid, or overrated/peak/overhyped in some weird hate circle of not being impressed by anything.

Would love for them to cover unorthadox fight shows like chainsawman to show jeff something outside of this is my trap card fighting shows. Plenty of shows with something to keep him on his feet. Funny enough anime fans seem to dislike shows that non fans usually enjoy and viseversa...like how someone who's not into romance may like a romance film that skips all the tropes, leaving usual fans confused. AOT's another he might enjoy given the limited tropes.

The 2 upcoming episodes is probably my favorite in Stardust Crusader part 1, so excited for the reaction.

Also I remember at the Bombathon Alex asked "when does Jojo get good", I was thinking if John was there it would be hilarious.

The few fights in Pt3 that are more for comedy, like Wheel of Fortune or The Sun, I quite enjoy. Just the stakes of slowly cooking coincided with a super lame stand user/solution is just....so good. They probably didn't need a full episode for just The Sun though. They get much better about that in Pt4 and beyond, heck even the second part of Pt3 is better in that regard.

Fun fact, The Sun's user is named Arabia Fats, whose namesake is Fats Domino.

Steely Dan's beatdown is so good, one of the best. So many Ora's.

I didn't remember all the camel facts, but the silly twist with the Sun was memorable to me. Jojo is still entertaining at its weakest.

Stoked that the upcoming 2-parter aligns for the next episode. Should be an amusing time.

Sometimes I really wish they would 3 episodes a week. Stardust Crusaders is such a slog in the first half that I remember dropping it and not coming back to it for almost 2 years.

I'm glad they're calling out the dumbness of some of the stuff. I think i had to stop watching half way through Stone Ocean cause it's just sooooooooo dumb.

@schindigg: I'd hop back on, stone ocean is very disliked due to the pacing and stands early on, and it gets really crazy come the final part this December. That said, the mangum ops is jo jo part 7 where the dude was firing on all cylinders with the most creative fights and story beats...Look it up if you dont believe me, its rated up there with berserk in quality. But year part 6 ending is what twisted me to love it...it is insane. If you wont read or watch it just look it up in wiki. @rww34ku: I think he's joking around (like allsystems goku comparing things to wrestling to help them enjoy it) and to be fair as a nonfan of this stuff, jumping into a show is hard cause he's likely used to live action tv and expects a certain level of seriousness. GOT or Breaking bad watcher (I think they mentioned watching those) jumping into more expressive stuff in anime can be off putting lol...that said there are some animes that are at live-action levels, and it seems live action tv has gone down in the amount of really good ones, leading to alot of people watching anime to get a fix lately. IMO at least.

Is this going back to every other week, or is the programming schedule page incorrect? I get it if people are busy, but two episodes every two weeks when trying to watch along as a new viewer is savage lol.

They confirmed on twitter https://twitter.com/giantbomb/status/1585264026732437504
I agree, I hope they at the very least amp up the episode number a little bit being so infrequent, or it's gonna be kind of a nightmare pace 😩

@topcyclist: that makes no sense, shouldnt it make more sense that they add more episodes to watch to get through the slow parts in this arc, like do 5-10 episodes per a week instead of dragging it out?

@BeardedSifu: I agree. Maybe not that many but I definitely hope they pick up the number of episodes.

@toomanyvoices: Yea they should do at least 4 a week if you ask me. This is already basically the longest season of Jojo's and 2 episodes every 2 weeks will take them over a year and some change.
