Is John saying he sounds the same as Jeff saying fuck? And Tam and Lucy agree? It clearly sounds like "book" when John says it, but Tam sounds like he's using the same letters as Jeff. I think Michael Caine or Jason Statham sound more like they're saying "facking", so there are a bunch of variations in the British Isles, but I think all Americans say it like "buck."

I love Hol Horse and his goofy voice and antics, you get a new Hol Horse + Boingo outro too for this two parter.

I got excited to a completely unreasonable degree when I saw we were getting the return of both Hol Horse and Boingo

After John mentioned Hol Horse and Boingo in the fighting game, I found this tool assisted speedrun of their story mode. Be aware that it contains spoilers for future episodes. It's a neat adaption with some fun references. For comparison, here's a challenge mode run with the original version of Hol Horse that uses the Hanged Man instead. Spoilers in that one, too.

Fuhk
John's 'uh' sounds heavier than average compared to how I mostly hear the word.

The D'Arby scene was one of the very few times that the OVA outshines the remake (and David Production did a great job), it's good as hell - https://youtu.be/DoXR23BMAvU. Definitely worth the watch if you haven't seen it

@gyratyne: It is my hope that they do a playthrough of the story mode after they complete Part 3. The game is the Dragon Ball Fighterz of its era. Capcom was able to capture the essence of the Stardust Crusaders cast in their animations and moves. The game also has a ton of references that are the crew would really appreciate.

You nailed it. John says it more like "book" or "cook". The double o has several different pronunciations depending on the word, and it sounded like Jeff went right for the "food" or "moon" sound.

Thanks for this. I'd never seen the OVA art, and it's interesting how different it looks even though it's the same style. Also, I don't remember the translation I'm watching referring to Joseph's power as "psychography" and I'm now sad about that.

That said, I didn't see what really made the OVA outshine the TV series. I even saw some things that made it worse. For example, Jotaro clearly pulled the second card instead of the top card to reveal the 10 after saying that the top card was meant for D'Arby.
