My personal favourite is the 2012 KOF XIII Grand Final, it was a very special top 8, it was as exciting as Tekken 7 has been the past 18 months.

What got me into fighting games in the beginning was a Street Fighter II machine at my local Safeway when I was 6. I had never seen a game like it before, and it blew my mind. I had a little kid memory at the time, so I went home and told my best friend about the game where I got to play as Dull Sam the pirate against a sumo wrestler.

Anyway, you guys should get Maximilian Dood on as a guest scientist sometime and do the science to either Third Strike or KI '13.

To answer Ben's question.

This wasn't what got me into fighting games, but for hype matches. I remember at the very end of Marvel 3 (before Ultimate came out) there was a "Good Vs Evil" Team battle. With the "Good" team having players who didn't use Dark Phoenix on their teams and the "Evil" team who did. I can't seem to find an achieve of it though.
