Please please please at least do the first four games. You can turn off tank controls in 2 and 3 and it’s makes it so much easier to navigate. Would be a bummer to see the series end after the first (and probably worst) game of the original series.

Give Frasier a chance. It's amazing and very witty comedy. My girlfriend was sour on it, but it's in her top 5 now.

Jess playing trough Rule of Rose or Haunting Ground would make a great series. Gerstmann probably has those games in some box anyway.

Otherwise: Yay for Silent Hill 2! And extremely nay for Undertale.

As someone who's finished both shows, I find this sad.

Put me in this same boat. I've enjoyed watching this series because of Jess and Jan and learning a bit about a PS1 classic, and also I don't think Silent Hill 1 is at all a good game. I'll have to take people's word for it that 2 and onward are potentially better.

That death after taking the sword was total bullshit

For some reason that song really put the influence of Twin Peaks on this whole series (or at least the first 3-4) into sharp relief, which made me realize how much of an influence Silent Hill was on "Deadly Premonition."

What an odd thing to have such a massive impact on Japan and Japanese videogame storytelling.

Edit: HAW! And the final moment gave me flashbacks to all those Sierra adventure games where one wrong click granted you swift, irreversible death!
