God I can’t wait for the next two games. SH3 is my personal favorite and was the first time I was ever blown away by graphics on the PS2, and is my choice for the flat-out scariest. Also I’m very much looking forward to how Jan is gonna respond to SH4.

Okay. Imma little freaked out at the moment. The game show host for "Trick or Treat" in this episode sounds just like the game show host in the Power Ranger episode "Trick or Treat" where the characters are on a game show called "Trick or Treat."

If I were to guess why the save points are red squares, I would say that the devs wanted them to be something distinct that stands out in the dingy surroundings for players' benefit.

Is it possible to get a full dead end in that well? I forget how James came across the melee weapons. At any rate, I will never understand his thirst for jumping into holes.

Nope! James gets his first melee weapon at the same time as the radio, and cannot progress in the game until that cutscene happens where you beat up the first enemy in that tunnel. It IS possible to miss the pipe though, as it's just sticking out of a car's hood in the gas station.
