@ybbaaabby I'm not sure if they have this in the new york, but I always keep Kleenex with balsam (aloe vera?) around for colds because it stops you from rubbing your nose raw.

More expensive than the normal ones but very handy when sick.

The echolocation game play would drive me crazy playing this. If I was playing it home alone would I just have to keep making noises with my mouth to keep playing?

Also how are you supposed to play if you need to make sound to see, but you can't make sound because the monster will attack...seems counter intuitive.

This looks like a pain to play, with or without VR. Good on Abby to power through.

Vinny cackling and calling it a Garbage Pail Kid while Abby is screaming "THAT BABY IS BEHIND ME!" is a juxtaposition that I love.

Darn. I was stoked when I saw that the game was controlling like a non-VR game despite the fact that Abby was wearing the headset, but they quickly found out how to make it look bad. VR is so hard to watch most of the time.

The meaningless societal stigma against sweatpants is such a perfect illustration of the insanity inherent to social groups.

There is literally no reason people should have a problem with someone wearing comfortable pants. But because, at least in western society, we all grow up being told not to wear sweatpants in public from an early age it's just this irrational social meme that perseveres unquestioned.

What's extra interesting is that it's such an old meme that there's been time for new kind of pants to enter the picture. These days you have simple tights or yoga pants that are similar in idea; simple, confortable, plain, minimalist design clothing. But no one thinks you shouldn't wear these in public or that they're not "proper" clothing. Had they existed at the time that sweatpants were branded with with the scarlet letter they'd surely have been all lumped together as weekend/workout/lazy clothing. Which I think demonstrates that while the meme exists to today whatever rational existed behind it is lost to time.

If course I'd never wear swear pants in public either, so I guess I'm just a big moron too.

Another edit: this doesn't seem like something thast's supposed to be interpreted literally in any way. It's a mood piece or a metaphor. it's like Annihilation. You can argue semantics all you want but the message is meant to be taken from the abstractions presented to you rather than translated into any literal story.
