Is Vinny reading Gaunt's Ghosts?

Looking forward to this one. Wednesdays are the best
Mario is starting look pretty cool...
From my experience Yoshi always cums 1st its selfish in bed ??
So many holes.
Based on the preview pages available on Amazon, The Day the Crayons Quit seems amazing.
@flasaltine: Quick 40k fans Eisenhorn or Gaunt's Ghosts Which is better GO!
it's the egg
I cried watching this. Laughing, but I still cried.
if you utilized the power of the red shine then that means it is in your possession. thus it is your shine.
if choosing to execute the endowed power of the red shine means that you must trade all of your shines for the shines of another person then that includes the red shine.
Yo, those chicken holes tho...

Do you think they realize they'll have to do the whole Yoshi thing again?
does sonic have a cloaca

I love you, Dan, I do. But you are a spoiled brat. You got to swap with Abby and ended with way more shines than you had before! And it's just not enough for you? When will New Dan fully take over?

@danryckert For reference, Vinny is correct. You cannot activate the power of the red shine without owning it, which means it already had to be in your cup, so it had to be swapped with the others.
Regardless of all of that, that is how all of the previous red shines have been played as well.
"I'm not a Triangle, I'm a man."Good to remember that once in a while Dan!
Oh shit, is the Philly Phanatic a Yoshi?
what Silver-Streak said!
while I'm not entirely opposed to the way Dan "wants" it to work the main point against his argument is that a precedent, even if unintentional was set the first time a Red Switch-a-rooney appeared
the prosecution rests....
Unsurprisingly, Dan's wrong.
It's kind of amazing that both you and Awful Squad (Polygon Show edition) somehow came to cloaca this week independently of each other.
Dan is that guy that killed your board game night.
"I might have hate watched some things..."
Oh, we couldn't tell. Maybe it was the sick Rick and Morty burn being based on the lowest common denominator reference possible. This will be another case like Dan vs. Anime. He watches Akira and realizes forming your own opinion is sick, nasty, rad shit.
@tjhall42: Eisenhorn! That shit has some fantastic, not to mention deeply tragic character development. And it lead to the even better Ravenor series. Out of which we got the protagonist for "The Emperors Gift", which has to be one of the very, very best 40 K books written.
Thank you for making this series. I look forward to this every week.
Dan asked for the audience to decide about his attempted rules lawyering at the start. Verdict: Dan, don't be a baby
Exactly. To further confuse Dan: This is the same ruling as a reaction in D&D or a triggered effect in Magic the Gathering. It only occurs after it's condition is met. In this case, claiming a special shine activates/triggers the special power, which happens after you've claimed it.
@lemonadepack: I was going to use that argument to argue the opposite. The red shine's trigger isn't putting it in the cup/claiming it, the trigger is "entering the field" (i.e. drawing it from the machine). Dan fucked up and put the shine in his cup before trading cups so I'm fine with how it worked out, but future shines IMO should be handled where the effect is activated and then the shine is claimed. Unless I'm mistaken, the effect of the red shine is to trade cups, not to trade shines.
Totally would be okay for a podcast series of Vinny reading Black Library books please.
Dan's way of handling the red shine is fine, as long as it is consistently applied throughout the game. Is it the act of turning the nob that starts the swap, or putting the shine in the cup? Either way, Dan put the shine in the cup so he has to give it up. And as others have said, that is how the other red shine was played too.
Also... USE THE SPRAY TO SLOW DOWN, NO YOU CAN'T GO BACKWARDS BUT YOU CAN MAKE TIME TO STEER.
The Day the Crayons Quit & The Day the Crayons Come Back are my kids favorite books. Such great ideas.
Fuck man, when Vinny starts actually reading that book, I about died :-D ...gotta love the guy
Vinny is right. If Dan is choosing to trade his shines, that includes the red shine he just got. Though, I will say it should have been outlined in the rules and then it wouldn't be a discussion. Dan loves crafting rules, I'm surprised it wasn't!
Good to see Vinny flexing those parenting skills, dealing with childishness.
What the hell was Dan about and these red shines? Vinny didn't make a big deal out of it when it happened to him. You trade the cups and the shines in them, of course the red one.
You already took abby's whole fucking cup, Dan. There's no need to nickle and dime her near the end of the series with no precedent set on the way you wanted the red shine to work.
Dan, you're wrong and i hope Abby beats you by 1 red shine
