jeff and ben please make yourself into a utauloid. Utau is like shareware vocaloid where you provide the samples. so you can make a utauloid that sounds like YOURSELF.

fake it till you make it jeff. go for the wavvestation. even if you don't use it often, its there when inspiration hits. the price is very reasonable, like you said. if you are worried about fingers and knobs, don't be. thats what lfo and modulation sources are for, natures fingers!
You can also "play"/record into the sequencer and further edit, or step sequence. So "playing" piano also isn't a real concern. Take all of this for what its worth to you.
