I'm really enjoying this series. Not sure how long it'll go but it's really making me wanna hop back in to one of the best PS4 games.

Happy for the extra folks on this ep. I love Jan, he’s doing fantastically, but solo streams just aren’t for me. Conversation is crucial. Maybe it’s in poor taste to complain at a time like this but I really do miss UPF and Playdates.

@janman Pro Tip. when you're looking at items on the item screen, be sure to press the Square button to flick through the pages of info being displayed. every item has bits of written lore that is going to be missed otherwise. likewise, u can press the triangle button to flick thru your current stats to compare.

As a silver lining to all the stuff going on, it's really cool the amount of cross coast content we're getting. I had no idea I needed a Jan and Vinny stream, but this very much made my day.

Stick with the Threaded Cane, Jan! It's a great weapon and works throughout the whole game. Zero levels into Strength, it doesn't help the cane. The other good skill weapons are late game or new game +.

At this point with that many points pumped into Skill he's sort of locked into using the cane and I hope someone lets him know before he starts using a Str based weapon.

Wow I hope Jan can actually concentrate next time. He basically went nowhere because Vinny was distracting him every 10 seconds. This was kind of unwatchable.

Playing games while talking is hard, but this got a little aimless at times.

Jan, you gotta at least try out the Kirkhammer. It's my favorite weapon in the entire Souls series; it's awesome.

Agreed. It was nice to get some extra voices, but a closer focus on the actual game would have been nice.

Jan: "I beat the thing I was having trouble with!"

Partner: "That's good, do you know where my chapstick is?"

Jan: "I don't know where your chapstick is."

I laughed so hard at this. It's exactly like every conversation I have with my wife when I accomplish something in a game.

Love seeing Jan using whip mode on the beasts. Also at 1:09:10 it looks like Jan's already discovered the technique of rolling to get out of the falling recovery animation.

You know, when it said the cast was "Vinny, Ben, Abby, Jan" I had my doubts and thought it was a mistake, but boy, all of the cameos in this Jan segment are honestly pretty good. People just wandering into a Discord channel and suddenly being on Jan's stream worked surprisingly well.

I was watching some old-timey "Breaking Brad" for Dark Souls with Vinny as the co-pilot and...the more things change...

Vinny's straight up bulljive with the soundboard is probably the best thing.
