Who knew being a bouncer would entail fighting robots?!
Maybe we will! Maybe we won't!

Holy shit I completely forgot about this game! I also remember having a lot of trouble playing it as a kid...
EDIT: Wow watching this reminds me how far I actually got in this game and how little I remember. idk why I played so much of this back in the day now.
Jason is crazy, the Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich is way better

OMG, Jan just recreated my experience with The Bouncer. I rented the game before I had a memory card, so I was never able to finish the game due to no continues. AMAZING.

Can't help but wonder which coast got the better end of the deal.
https://megadads.org/2019/08/22/gamer-spotlight-vincent-caravella/^The article about Vinny that Jan mentioned.
Holy shit, is this for real?!? :D
I loved the bouncer, seriously, haters can hate all they want. A formative pass the controller nostalgia point in my life, it was rad and still is. I don't remember Del in the game, but that makes this even more awesome. Even if this vid destoys my memories of it.
Unlikely, the ragdolling had us rolling back then
Jan you're the man but you know this

Finally, a real video game.
Damn, she a satellite, and she got feet?
Reloaded is bad. Revolutions is bad. Matrix 4? hopefully Neo is not the main character.
That game over might have been the funniest damn thing

The Bouncer was so next-gen in 2001.
Also, The Matrix is a classic and the other movies are really cool when you stop comparing them to the original.
Beast Wars holds up! Well, everything about it besides the animation.
That flashback scene confirms that this is just the quiet man.
That robot had the Smash logo on it's shoulder.
This games not good Im sorry Jan
I had no idea this game had ridiculous ragdoll physics. That's fuckin' great!
This is the first game I remember playing with boobs jiggle physics.
@janman Filipino check in: there was a lot of vest action going on in my high school's Kababayan Filipino Culture Club.

Thank you Jan for resurrecting this game. My friends and I all loved it as a party game at sleepovers and birthdays (as long as the one person who had a multitap remembered to bring it).
The single player is unfortunately pretty bad though. I don't think I've ever played it to completion.
I'm so happy you're here Jan!
Guys? I'm pretty sure that's Sora.
oh Jan, I know EXACTLY what it's like to fall in love with a bad ps2 game when you're a child.
Only the procesing power of the PlayStation 2 could properly render the physics model of Sion's wallet chain.
Oh God I only realised Volt's jeans were cuffed up to his knees like a half hour in. HOW LONG ARE THOSE JEANS UNCUFFED?
Edit: Beastwars is actually a really fantastic New Zealand sludge metal band, not a cartoon
@jeremyf: Well to be fair, The east coast- folk will be playing through Dan's nonsense for the next 2-3 months at least.
I unironically love this game. Fond multitap memories...
never heard or scene of this game before outside of jans mentions of it. fucking wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also like Matrix 2.
But I can’t agree with Ben on the 3rd one being good.
The Bouncer, made by Dream Factory, of Tobal (and more). There was a reason people had hope for this. But the 20:1 Cutscene to combat ratio was just too much.
It makes me so happy to hear Jan has a love for a game from my childhood!!! I loved this game too!

This game looks great looks like poo
I . . . didn't hate The Bouncer when it came out. You can certainly plow through the game in less than 2 hours (unless I am underestimating/misremembering the amount of the cutscenes), so anyone who paid full price was bamboozled. Fun little rental, though.
Hope that Jan doesn't spam two moves for the entire game. There is admittedly no depth to its combat, but, hey, show off the weird pressure sensitive button input system that the game has.
Game still looks phenomenal, though. Clean it up a bit and release it on modern hardware to blow everyone's mind!
The Bouncer was totally fine ... as long as you rented it. I can't imagine not getting everything you needed to get out of it in one weekend.
Holy shit this is the funniest GD thing.
Love you Jan but next time you are on a stream maybe don't pick the same character and do the same two moves every single time. Not worth a joke and not fun to watch.
Yeah the multi could be pretty fun.
It reminded me of a lesser version of similar fun I had with The Warriors multiplayer, which was also overlooked.
Final Fantasy meets Roadhouse. Good, good....
"This is a safe space, it can be anime" and the hesitation of Jan cracks me up.
@janman I also wore vests in High School man. It might have been an Asian thing because I wasn't the only one.
And I was wondering where I have seen The Bouncer intro before:
@naevorc: Vest representation with Lao/Thai dudes happened where I was as a kid
I actually liked this game back in the day, good replayability.
