Curious as to when a good chunk of FPS puzzlers will finally break free of the aesthetic and narrative shackles of Portal.

I know it gets repeated often in GDC talks and game design articles, but...

A good puzzle isn't clever; a good puzzle makes the you feel clever.

Also, a good puzzle is easy to execute once you figure out the solution (the challenge is supposed to come from solving it, not executing the steps - which is why most time manipulation and timing based puzzles are tedious).

don't know if there is a hardware problem at the moment but the videos lately look blurry as hell when things move, washed out and the bitrate is pretty bad. this game looks nothing like in the video, plaque tale also looked awful somehow?

To quote one Alan Partridge: “Tannoy is a brand name”. Did the makers of this game receive express written consent from the Tannoy Corporation for the use of their brand? Shame on them.

I absolutely LOVED The Talos Principle and it's in my top 10 games of all time but the puzzles that involved time manipulation (via a playback of a recording of your actions) were my least favorite puzzles in the game and this game is built all around that kind of mechanic, unfortunately.
