To piggyback on the New York sports team talk, there's also a second soccer team here now with the New York City FC, who play in Yankee Stadium. And Alex asked about any D-League teams and just last year, we got one of those too with the Westchester Knicks, who play in the county center in White Plains.

And can I say that I absolutely love that there was an extended conversation on this podcast about hockey goal songs? This is the best show.

With respect to that Need for Speed movie discussion, it's worth noting that when we went to watch Furious 7 (at an actual cinema, no less, which is crazy for me) my friend asked the cashier for tickets to Need for Speed and I had to correct him. Plus I've definitely said the wrong one in conversation multiple times, or forgotten that Aaron Paul wasn't involved in F&F at some point but a separate franchise.

Whether "brand confusion" is enough to warrant a full sequel, though, is another question.

I like how Alex always worries about playing too much of licensed songs when 8-4 play uses several full songs in each episode.

Loved the Iwata discussion.

No. Jeff is a pretty dope guy. Back when GB was looking for someone I was kind of hoping they would just hire him. Also if you want to here more of him he does his own podcast called The 404.

It was strange being into US sports as a UK person in that period when Glitter's stuff was taboo here but played at sporting events on TV.

Can we make anime on the Beastcast what wrestling is to the Giant Bombcast? Because I couldn't care less about wrestling but I love me some anime.

An example of a good season pass is The Witcher 3. It's clearly outlined what you get, and the base game is good enough that you don't feel like you lost out on content.

This is the second podcast in a row that had almost a whole section dedicated to talking about a new or upcoming anime. Last week was DBS and this week is Gundam. I'm loving it. Thank you Austin.

Reactionary vs proactive was a good point by Jeff. That's a way all video game design is headed (to a degree) since throwing more money at things is suffering from bad return on investment.

Alright if I see fucking NHL in the description again I'm just going to skip that week, because that was fucking terrible. I literally stopped listening after what felt like a damn lifetime trapped listening hockey hell.

I love the Gundam talk from Austin and Vinny.

For anybody wondering that goal horn sound board is We Just Scored and I would suggest everyone listen to the Nashville Predators because it's the best.

New Gundam series actually looks like the best they have done in a long time. Just the animation alone is already better than a lot of anime out other than maybe the Unicorn series, but that took almost a year to make each episode.

I love Vinny, Alex, Austin, and Perpetually Rotating Fourth Chair Jeff.
