@njn: You're kinda reaching there as far as TB and ethics is concerned. He was always someone who was very transparent and vocal about ethics as a youtuber. Even before YouTube started enacting stricter rules, he was upfront about disclosing any promotion or sponsorship he had going. He was vocal about his opinion that other youtuber should do the same.

I thought Vinny's throw to TB was probably the best way of handling it. I had to switch my twitter to private because I was in a screenshot he took of a twitter conversation, he threw his followers at my friends giving them death threats and on several separate occasions he would go into the twitch chat of completely unrelated streams just to ruin the fun for other people - that was even after he said he was taking a back seat to internet drama. On the other hand, I have friends who are indie devs who basically owe their success much to his exposure.

I wish he was able to leave the gaming community a less toxic place than the one he helped to create.

Anybody asking for "what exactly he said" or other "proof" of TB's bad behavior need to google "sealioning" because that's what they're doing.

I didn't watch any TotalBiscuit content, but it seems pointless and kind of insulting to mention his death as news if you didn't respect him or his content. He's not the president or some other figure that would stand as an elephant in the room if not addressed.

It felt very empty. Repeating "sad" made it worse.

I just had a sleep paralysis episode of someone pushing me down on the couch while blowing scorching hot air at me a few days ago. So, yeah, having a hot air fan on during summer literally sounds like a nightmare to me.

@wikmalm: I think it's far better to say that it's not worth glossing over those parts. He made many a mistake but not of which to doom his name for all time.

I thought the name Far: Lone Sail was pretty self-explanatory, no? Don't think it's that bad.

Far: Indicates you're in a far away place.

Lone: You're alone and isolated.

Sail: You probably traverse the world via a boat or other vehicle that utilizes a sail.

I also found a tick on my groin last week, and have been getting frequent visits from a black bear that loves to shit in my yard.

I would once again kindly like to point out that @ybbaaabby has the (perhaps understandable) wrong impression that going back in time to be terrible just because she is a women.Human history spans a long time with many different cultures and many different costumes and takes on the role of man and women is society. times used to be rough for both man and women in many different ways.

Not having 100% equality in everything between the sexes might seem like a rough deal, but on the other hand forced conscription wasn't really seen as a male privilege.

But its true not time was as good as the present. Social rights have come a long way and keep improving, as seen by the decision of the EU courts on gay marriage rights.

tl,tr: History is not so black and white that it was a living hell for women and a paradise for men. Most times both lived in the mud and dirt together.

Click Clock Wood in Banjo Kazooie had the 4 seasons and they changed the level by allowing access to different areas. One of the side characters that transforms you into different things goes on vacation during one of the seasons. There's a squirrel who's hoarding nuts during the summer and autumn and you find him in hibernation in the winter. There's an egg that grows until it hatches in autumn I think. I think there's also a huge plant that grows until autumn and then you find withered in winter. The water also freezes over in winter.

I thought Vinny's mention of TB's passing was rather classy.

For that question about games that make you think of a specific place... I first played Mass Effect 1 while visiting my brother in his college dorm. I was spent the weekend there and marathoned it. The dorm room had a very distinctive smell (as dorm rooms are wont to do). Every time I've played ME1 since, I can smell that smell. It's crazy.
