@alex Hayabusa just recently actually regained movement in his legs. He was able to stand up from his wheelchair and walk into a wrestling ring unassisted for the first time.

This video is honestly one of more powerful things I've seen in wrestling so be warned, there will be tears.

I just lived in rural Japan for two years, and fyi most of Japan is really boring, not remotely as weird as Tokyo

I did the same thing when I went to Odaiba went around the Joyolpolis wasn't that impressed then found the beat up arcade nearby. The Venus Fort in that area is really cool ( it's a shopping centre that's made to look like a Europeon town).

I'm just gonna say, you get a Fulton bazooka in MGS Peace Walker, that shoots a rocket that explodes into a cloud of smoke which puts everyone to sleep and then automatically attaches balloons to them. You can also combine with the bandana to get infinite rockets (ie fultons) for it.

It's pretty dope.

Also if you hold somebody up in 5, you can attach a balloon to them while they're fully awake, and they will, in fact, kick and scream (louder than when they're knocked out).

NBA 2k16's story isn't THAT bad, the acting was pretty damn good IMO. The plot was boilerplate, and i skipped the last 10 minute scene lol. I would not watch it again, but the lack of choice was my biggest problem with it honestly. I definitely hated vic by the end of the story though, which is probably the opposite effect they were going for.

Anyone know the name of the Tonkatsu restaurant in roppongi district @alex went to with the 8-4 play guys? I've stalked various twitter feeds and may have missed the name of the place in the podcast. I'm going to Tokyo in 4 weeks and that place sounds amazing.

While Alex was in Japan Ladybeard was kicking off a US tour, in part for his act and wrestling, and part for the music project LadyBaby which is refreshingly J-metal. He's one of the most driven entertainers I know but he needs to do wrestling with Egashira.

Alex's journey to Japan sounded pretty great, but there is no way in hell I could do that weird ass sexual harassment restaurant. The animal cafes sound pretty alright though.

Also, how did you guys seriously not think of Red Dead Revenge? John Marston's son hunting down the government officials involved in the murder of his father. An RDR2 very well might not be that at all but that seems like the most logical next story arc to me.

I just can't see most people being happy with the performance of the Steam streaming box. You might say "the lag isn't really noticeable most the time", but it objectively plays worse than playing it directly on the computer that's just down the hall actually running the game. That computer is right over there, running the game super well, and yet you funnel it through this thing to make the controls feel more unresponsive for what? because it's slightly more convenient? Anyone who cares about having the "best experience" should not buy one.

About the whole offline GMP/resources getting automatically siphoned into online GMP/resources thing in MGSV. You can apparently stop this from happening altogether by declining the Terms and Conditions that appears at the launch of the game. I think I've had success doing it, but I don't pay close attention to my GMP or resources. Of course, declining the Terms and Conditions forces you to play offline, but you can always agree to the Terms later and go online.

Alex and Vinny are the best! Jeff and Austin are wonderful! Cats rule! I would go nuts in a cat cafe since I inherited my mom's unhealthy compulsion to cats. For the past couple weeks I've seen these Alienware Alpha Gaming consoles inside of the video game lock up in a walmart. Didn't look like they were selling at all but I doubt people even know what they're looking at when they see this thing kind of tucked away with all the other video game junk. Every time I pass by it I thought to myself "What the fuck is that? One of them thar Steam machines? Wonder if any of the Giant Bomb guys know about these things." Lo and behold it seems like you guys didn't know shit until Jeff swooped in to save the day. Sounds intriguing but I'm not currently in the market for getting back into PC gaming. I've still got plenty of stuff to play on my current console. Thanks for this podcast and keep up the great work.

At some point someone recommended a specific Gundam series. There are eleven million series of Gundam, does anyone know which one it was? I remember it dealt with them basically been child soldiers.
