For everyone who wants to know more about WW1, I highly recommend to listen to the 6-part series "Blueprint for Armageddon" from Hardcore History. Really interesting and entertaining take on the events leading to and unfolding during the war.

@uc_drew: He was just saying that he was going to wait for all the excitement to die down so he didn't go in with this huge weight of expectation hanging over the game, which is totally understandable and something I have done in the past.

Oh absolutely. The writing for some of the characters is absolutely stellar and it shows some of the most interesting fragments of the old republic. Even in its unfinished state, there is some tremendous quality to that game that is difficult to put into words--it's like that game is just steeped in nostalgia. Nostalgia not for the player, but for the characters in the game. The characters all seem to be chasing after something that defined them in the past; something that is no longer a part of the current state of the galaxy.

@stereotype: Definitely not as comprehensive, but I found the Crash Course History episodes on WWI to be really good and informative. I really should check out Hardcore History at some point.

@joystickjunkie: I second this. Also check out Two Hands, which I remember being really good and also had young Heath Ledger, which is always a plus.

I really wish that Christopher Nolan would pick up the Mario Bros franchise and just make a dark as shit Mario movie like he did with Batman. I think everybody needs these movies to be made.

Does that also mean you're disagreeing with the rest of the crew fully understanding where Austin's coming from with his statement? I honestly think that you must have misunderstood what he meant with wanting to wait to play Uncharted 4 until the dust around it's release settles. He just don't want to jump in with all of the current hype hovering over him, and maybe not being able to give it a fair chance right away.

For the second part of your post, I don't really sure how to respond. I think I'll just go with that they are a team that together discuss and plan what content they're going to produce and publish. They're all putting in suggestions, and then they have to pick and choose what they have time to priorities based on all sorts of factors. Right now there have been a of things going on that they've decided Austin is more suited for.

I don't know if this is the way you took it, but to me it seems like you thinks that Austin's getting a lot of undeserved attention right now just because he may have been demanding it. And that's not how they work.

I believe you should go back and listen to that first part again, and listen more closely to what was said. Doing that, also with some of the information that has been given in some of the responses to this, I truly believe that you'll understand it all better. (Maybe wait for a short while the dust settles first, so that you can give it a more faire chance.)

Also, I hope you don't get too much flak for this one, since I believe you caught it all from a bad angle.
