Vinny stated multiple times that space game was called Rogue Sector, but I believe the game he was talking about during the beginning of the podcast is actually called Rogue System.

I could be wrong, too. But I couldn't find an early access cockpit thing called Rogue Sector.

@pyide: I think you're right. Rogue Sector is a shooter, but Rogue System looks like a combination of Star Trek and Orbiter.

Tagging onto the "not easy to play together," I am the main game player in our household, but my wife enjoys playing certain games as well - she has her own PC and we share the consoles and handhelds.

Admittedly, we are a niche portion of the market and extremely privileged, but a lot of games don't consider multiple PCs, multiple save files, sharing of games on the same local network, multiple user logins, etc.

Does Dan not know that Giant Bomb videos are on Youtube? All Giant Bomb staff are Youtubers.

To give some perspective on how quiet this podcast is, I booted up Deus Ex at the same time and was almost deafened. Please, Vinny. Tell me why this podcast is so quiet. I just want it to be in line with other media.

Man, I gotta say Alex has the right idea about social media. I'm pleased that Dan is stepping back from it. Look no offense but you guys are in a bubble, it's a very very big bubble, but there are A LOT of folks outside that bubble of social media networks and Internet echo chambers y'all.

I remember Patrick doing an interview with the creator of Alone With You years ago. At the time I thought it sounded pretty confusing and stupid. You can read my old, sourcomment right on that page. Watching the recent gameplay trailers make it more apparent what it actually is. Tthe people you are talking with might technically be holograms, but they are in fact defined, human people. It's not the "nonentity player teaching a computer to love" game I thought it was, and I'm kinda interested in trying it.

Edit: Mortal Kombat 2 is the most American choice I've seen. But lists are great fun. If you guys ever want to add another column like "corrections" or "emails", I'd love for it to be "List of the week".

The Bombcast is also quiet to me.

Hey, today is my birthday!

Guys Yakuza 5 is free on PS3 for PS+ users this month. That one game was almost worth the PS+ cost itself, and I still download free games for PS3, PS4, and VITA every month. I'm actually drowning in backlog.

I'm going to miss having Dan on the Beastcast. Can this whole "Dan goes to New York thing" be annual?
