Party of One: The Jeff Gerstmann Home Game, Berzerk, Frenzy, Some Vector Games

Loving all these Home Games lately.

Also, Berzerk is still a super fun game.

Love seeing those vector graphics.

omg, haven't watched yet.. but i'm hoping-- dying for some "Berzerk! Berzerk! Berzerk over you!"

Vector graphics: best graphics.

Berzerk is one of those games I'd love to see a modern reboot of. Not one that is faithful to the original gameplay, but maybe something like a beautiful first or 3rd person shooter adventure with designs based off cover: Sleek robots, laser guns and tight silver spandex. A game that reinvents the franchise smartly like Syndicate did.

the dialogue in berzerk made me think about nier...

I was very happy that Jeff shared the little tid bit about the robots’ lasers passing between the player’s head and body in the VCS version of “Berzerk.” That popped into my mind when he first started playing.

Brilliant.

Also, hearing the Mother-Brain-ass-looking-alien talking during the "Space Fury" vector game was tripping me out.

am i alone in thinking that the colecovision version of frenzy looks cooler than the arcade?

They need to finally get off their butts and do HDR on PC monitors first.

Better vector graphics don't mean much when 90% of the people making something that niche would only be able to do it on PC.

These are some of the best videos on GB for their pure information value. Is there anything for Neo Geo Pocket (Color) worth taking a look at @jeff ? I don't think I've ever seen the games on that system anywhere.

Jeff is right tho. Armor Attack is the best vector game, especially 2 player.

I skipped eating lunch every day of 7th grade, and instead saved the money my parents gave me, and then Friday we'd head to Godfathers Pizza and play Armor Attack for hours.

Missed this stream at the time, but the vectors are giving me strength!
