Brock Lesnar is the worst. Also, the Summerslam card IS kind of lame. I also fully expect Ziggler to lose...again.

Its also kind of ignorant how after The Shield broke up, Reigns and Ambrose have had 0 interaction. Makes it feel even more contrived.

Brie/Stephanie match is 100% useless and comes off as some reminder Daniel Bryan is still alive.

Oh man, 2006 was back when I was actually into WWE. MVP getting burned was the realest shit when I was 12. Going to give this one a listen.

I feel like people talking about how Brock can't possibly win because the champ has to be on every single week forget the part where the Rock won the title at the Royal Rumble last year and appeared all of like 3 times on the way to Wrestlemania 29.

I wanna point out that as of last week's Main Event, (Just before Del Rio got fired), Zeb and Swagger were STILL being super racist towards Mexicans. I actually found that pretty fucking bold and surprising of the WWE to keep those characters as they were despite the pro-'Murica route she's been headed towards.

Also, am I the only one who does NOT like Charlotte? She's pretty terrible on a mic and not a very good wrestler yet either. Is the reason everyone seems to love her just a "We love Ric Flair and she's his daughter therefore..." thing?

I almost went to December to Dismember, but decided to cancel at the last minute. One of many regrets I will carry with me to my grave.

I think she's fine in the ring, but she needs to ditch that shitty finisher. It's so weird to see her beat the hell out of someone's leg the whole match and then hit that crap finisher when part of her deal is the freakin' Figure Four leglock.

I really hate to be this guy but the words "the best" and "the worst" were spoken way too much on this podcast. There are varying degrees of good and bad. There is an entire spectrum in between "best" and "worst" in which that things can inhabit.

Also, friendly reminder, Brock Lesnar is great. And should not only hold the WWE Championship for months and months but should continue to talk as much as humanly possible because every time he opens his mouth, it is completely hilarious because he sounds like a fucking idiot bully BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT HE IS AND THAT'S WHY HE IS AWESOME. HE WILL FUCKING KILL YOU IN REAL LIFE. HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WRESTLING IS FAKE.

I might be eventually wrong, but WWE isn't going to be making KENTA do anything dumb. They flew freaking Hulk Hogan out to Japan to sign KENTA's contract live in front of a Japanese crowd.

Also, shouts out to Jared for picking World War 3 1995. Early 90s WCW gets a bad rap, mostly because Vince has tried to convince everyone that it was awful but it was so much better than that era of WWF. This show in particularly gets into some shaky territory because it's on the fringe of the all Hulk Hogan, all the time show that it would soon become but there's some good stuff on that show.

Interesting conversation on race. I feel like they could have switched the word "wrestling" for "video games" at a lot of points and still had a relevant and accurate discussion.

Wait, wait, wait, wait...@danryckert wasn't being silly when he said Michael Cole "is good at his job"? He's awful and adds absolutely nothing to any broadcast he's on.

Whenever I try to watch wrestling again, it's Michael Cole's commentary that reminds me why I hate it so much. He's awful I agree, but I imagine he's perfect for what the WWE want from a commentator.

He certainly no JR.

Also @milkman I fell into a hole a couple of weeks back of watching Brock Lesnar interview segments and training videos and I think the actual reason they don't let him say much is because when he talks normally he just sounds like a really super lovely guy. It threw me for a loop but he comes across like a loving hardworking country dad, rather than the cold-hearted hulking face-murderer that they always present him as (although he certainly does that pretty well).

Growing up I sort of appreciated the Hardy's, though mostly due to the battles they had with the Dudley's and Edge and Christian.

Lol Bryan does the introduction and they scold him for ridiculous things. Bryan is and will continue to be massively over, and his mic skills are absolutely fine. His stuff with Team Hell No was amazing. I'm baffled by this podcast and its continual "someone voices ridiculous opinion, everyone on the team backpedals to agree with it". Alex is the most guilty of this, how he'll agree with almost anything even if he disagreed with it prior based on a weak argument from another host.

Bryan is basically the best WWE has now (and the fans love him) and the fact that someone (Jeff) thinks that he won't be over when he returns, and "not knowing what to do" with him? Absolutely insane. The only real reasonable voice on this show is Dan (who is, ironically, the biggest wrestling fan) — and even then, I don't really understand why these guys think that Bryan will not be over just because he is out. Jeff even says that Cesaro won't lose momentum, even with crappy angles — and yet he thinks Bryan won't be over when he comes back? It's a little crazy.

"They" (WWE creative) doesn't have to do ANYTHING with Bryan. Once Ride of the Valkyries hits, they will go insane. Do they not remember his ovation at Money in the Bank? People still care and once the music hits, they will be excited.

Hearing Michael Cole defended in any way on this podcast is supremely disappointing. He is the worst. Always has been.

So I looked up some Bad News Barrett footage and lord, that's pretty special. Wade's voice is fantastically rough which fits it perfectly. It's stupid, but it's certainly memorable. I feel like he's in some old English Victorian workhouse.

PS, I barely watch any wrestling these days so this is all new to me.
