Dan isn't the only one. I had the chisel barrage and didn't ever try it, never used the high jump.... I didn't 100% it but I still didn't use half the shards I had and probably should have.

I think they nerfed Heretical Grinder eventually, because it wasn't as good in my playthrough as it was for Vinny.

TOKI YO TOMARE powers are always good

For most of the game, I used an upgraded Riga Storaema (and later Riga Dohin) and my summon, and then Void Ray (damaging laser) as my directional. Void Ray consumes MP as you hold it down, but if you feather it, you can hit with it and only use up a bit of MP.

It annoys me that Dan keeps comparing Bloodstained to SotN when it's way more Aria/Dawn of Sorrowesque. D:

did you max out any of the passives gives you a permanent version of the passive even when not selected and if you select one you've maxed you double the effect I only figured that out pretty late through my new game plus playthrough

I really wished I'd gotten/upgraded more of those movement shards. Would have made the endgame grinding so much more tolerable haha.

Still kinda weird how dan missed all these in the process of 100%ing. Like every time I got a new shard the first thing I'd do is test it out, see if I liked it and then consider leveling it. That was the game to me, collect the stuff see what it does. Oh well.

I'm so glad this was made. Could totally see how you'd miss these shards as I ended up using the ones I really liked myself and nothing else.

I never got the high jump or accelerator shard. I was looking for one, but I guess I missed it or just somehow never noticed it in my inventory. And I beat the game with the true ending. No idea how I missed it.
