Tam is correct. The first 5 seasons of Supernatural were great.

Supernatural makes me sad because it ate up so much of Ben Edlund's (creator of The Tick) career.

@thesl: I misread The Tick as Tik Tok. To say I was confused would be an understatement.

I was really into Doctor Who for a while but fell off after Matt Smith left (though I only really liked the first series with him as The Doctor) but every version of the intro still gets me very excited. Just a great mood setter.

i am so glad i know nothing about Supernatural, but ive also seen this kind of mess wreck stuff i've enjoyed in the past so...

Tam is right Supernatural had 5 great seasons and sort of just declined from there, I kept on to season 10 with a fluttering hope though, and the school play episode was actually quite emotional.

That said I was never involved with the fandom, most of the time fandoms are often combative and toxic and it's better to just keep them at arms length and dive in casually for fan art.

I hoped this video would happen, and I hope you dive deeper into this void.

I still wanna know where to find Tam's foxy shirt.

@genessee: why are you glad you know nothing about something you...know nothing about? I don't know anything about the fandom (haven't seen this video yet) but the show is mostly enjoyable by itself.

Why aren't Ghostbusters fans the Proton Pack?

I think using fandom like kingdom, as in something to be a part of, sounds dumb to me. It started out like stardom, as in the state of being a star, or a fan, and used to be counted as having a level of stardom, or fandom, not being in one.

I still have a completely positive outlook on Supernatural because I got into it super late and only ever watched the first 5 seasons. I still highly recommend season's 1 through 5 to anyone as long as they don't watch the one on Netflix. The netflix version got rid of all the licensed music which is a big part of the show for me.

I don't engage with fandoms and remain pure on my enjoyment. Mostly. I've seen BTS people being weird/aggressive.

I knew nothing about the Supernatural fandom before this episode and am actively antagonistic towards memes, but that clip of the angel saying "I love you" followed by the SIMS --social indicator appearing around the brother is some of the funniest stuff I have seen in ages.

Maybe I've missed some announcement (and that I'm not typing this on a day an episode stealth drops) but I hope it's back soon, the show's a very fun time and something I've found myself going back and rewatching a bunch.
