Genealogy is a lot easier for Christian-descended Europeans. Churches keep baptism records forever. It can be a lot more challenging for descendents of slaves, non-Christians*, and non-Europeans who didn't or couldn't keep those records.

*big exception for Muslims who can trace descent from the Prophet's family and Jewish Cohens/Kohanim, the priest caste.

For a light-hearted episode they should dive into the world of vtubers.

Man, I remember Austin Walker saying some years ago on Waypoint that you have to consider if you develop for tech in some shape or form, that you kind of have to weigh the possibility that it might be used later for nefarious purposes. Something along those lines. That always stuck with me, it just seems to be the nature of these things. Oy vey, oy vey.
