@danryckert Kai doesn't end after Cell, it originally did though. I think they stopped production for a while and then started up again to finish it, so by the time you guys get done with Cell you will probably be able to get the rest of the series on blu-ray

Vinny, that was probably the best thing to come from this series. Absolutely loved it. You and Dan make for some great entertainment.

Wait, did they do two endings in this one? I only noticed the one at the end where where Dan and Vinny went on to victory together.

The Netflix show about trying to bake something difficult that Abby was talking about should've been called This is the Bun.

It's all on blu ray, "the final chapters" 3 parts. roughly 100 bucks for it all on amazon.

Dan finished the boss off on his own, but Vinny joined in at the last second when Dan's victory gave him enough points for an extra life.

Anyway, Dan really needs to develop a better understanding of how to use save states. Using a save state to continue from a point at which you've just barely managed to scrape by and fumble your way through a challenging segment is reckless.

It's totally okay to fall back to previous save states, as well. It seems like you understand that it could make sense to, but you never actually do it. If you're going to use a save state immediately after essentially burning a continue and sloppily getting through a segment, then try to only use that save state if you absolutely never want to play through that segment again.

What's missing from these "Fun" episodes is that you're not getting significantly better with each attempt after loading a state, so your use of save states is practically the same as doing a mediocre run without them, but thankfully having the ability to eek your way through in the end by loading a state continually when you're both down to a single life.

I can see from these "Fun" episodes that a lot of what made the actual run so rewarding to watch was the fact that you two were legitimately getting better with each attempt (well, most of them) and that you had a bit of time between attempts to read comments for tips. I don't want to take anything away from you guys for beating a game as difficult as this (and with two players, yet to boot), as even applying tips from other people is really difficult in this game, but you guys should really consider using save states a bit more conservatively to ensure that the end isn't reduced to you two just save-scumming with one life each remaining to barely scrape by.

Wish there was a better way to watch the previous episodes besides just going down the “new” list.

I really hope you two get to The Final Chapters, there's a lot of wild stuff and I think it's some of the funniest stuff in the series.

Absolutely worth the ASG treatment, imo.

There is! Hover over the Videos tab up top, select "This Is The Run" from the drop down and you will end up on a page that has the videos in reverse chronological order (newest first). Makes it so you're only looking at episodes of this series and not everything that Giant Bomb produces.

Does anyone know why this game wasn't rereleased anywhere? Anytime Sega does an awesome collection of games, I can't help but be disappointed at the lack of Hard Corps. And that was when Konami still cared, so what are the odds now? BAD

Never realized that the hardcore tag was due to all the dicks, but this ending really brought it home. Especially 1:15, where if you close your eyes for a minute it's pretty much sex.

Sega wasn't actually involved in the game, it's all Konami. You only see the Sega logo up front since all Genesis games started with one.

Drinking game idea - every time Dan says "Save State" take a shot.

I've enjoyed the whole series, but 'This is for Fun' has been particularly great.
