Enjoying the Div.2 QUITE a bit. I will say, there is some magic lost in the snowyscape of NYC with it's all-over-the-place cryptic dark zone/tunnel system for endgame. I just started, so maybe that stuff is somehow still in here, but having lived in NYC for a decade, The Division 1 is a game I walked into blind and fell in love with. Not so much this new one, while I still like it. Honestly, the game that did that for me recently was Anthem, which is getting me plenty of weird looks. It has to do with controls and flexibility and that all-so-fresh-feeling when a game with something that looks cool controls well, and you feel hooked on those for the first 15 hours.

The division and Anthem both want to roll this feeling from 10 hours into thousands, and right now, in no way because it is a sequen, Div. has some of the stuff Anthem doesn't have figured out yet, as well as a game to build on. In this regard though,to circle back, I enjoy playing The Division's shooting and missions a lot, but I like the momentum and universe of Anthem more, and I hope the improvements to Anthem deployed today can keep Bioware in the fight between the big shlooter mind-melt.

the SOS flare in soloplay is genius and offsets the completely alone feeling from the first, if you played solo.

Starting to think a new Syndicate would be a good fit for this type of game. A cyberpunk shlooter would be heavenly.

Request for help is a neat feature for solo, but its not a new idea. Monster Hunter already had this idea of firing a flare SOS and calling a random person in to team up with you when you played solo (I played solo so did this a lot). You got a trophy for it even :)

Jeff made Lem- oh that was his intent. Good job, Jeff. RIP Motorhead.

I was going to say Lem was cooler than the guy he made, and dressed more in black than purple tank tops and biker shorts. I was thinking more the singer of Eagles of Death Metal. I picture the dirty hipster look. ha-ha
But I could see this character in a cowboy hat for sure.

I can see Lemmy more than I can see Cobain in that character.

I’m amazed that they find the world design boring. I think the world design in this one is leaps and bounds more interesting than in 1. It’s not just all tall buildings. There’s lots of cool landmarks, architecture, and parks, plus more open areas.

I'm having a lot of fun in this game. This is hitting the spot way better than Destiny or Anthem for sure.
