Sorry Brad but I think you overrated it. I found the combat tedious due to the respawning enemies. I did not get a sense of satisfaction out of solving the puzzles because I felt that I was just brute forcing them with a combination of the thief and wizard powers. I also managed to complete the game without improving any of my skills (I didn't realise I could do this!). I am not sure if that's a testament to how well or how badly the game is designed.

Games like this remind me that side-scrollers are still viable, even in this day and age.  Bravo.

The games in game art is fantastic, but the 2D story art is simply terrible and such a let down in contrast. They should have got a top fantasy artist to create all those scenes. ...
