Absolutely love this game, possibly the best thing on Early Access, can't wait for it to be finished.

They went with Blade over Simon Phoenix as their Wesley Snipes character of choice? Maaan. Granted, maybe they needed to be "heroes" to qualify.

This looks super fun, but there are a ton more iconic action heroes that could to go in it for sure.

I replayed it like five times. I'm definitely buying the full game sometime soon.

They only recently added Brochete (Machete) and Bronan the barbarian, so I imagine they're still gonna be adding more characters.

I'm getting pretty tired of polygons myself.

I'm so tired of 3D graphics.

Because 90% of indie games are 2D side scrollers. There's only so much you can do with that.

@sooty: Yeah, and 99% of AAA games take place in a 3D environment. There's only so much you can do with that.

I'm obviously being facetious, but it's not like all indie side scrollers are the same. There are shooters, puzzle games, racing games, straight platformers, adventure games... just seems kind of weird to get bothered by the fact that it's obviously easier and cheaper for indies to make 2D games.

One hit deaths seem completely out of place in this game. First, it kills any sense that you're an OP 80's badass if it only takes one hit to kill you. Second, with this much chaos, you seem to just die because, I don't know, explosions? Does this bug anyone else?

I'm halfway through. I hope they figure out you can charge up Brobocop's main gun and unleash a ton of bullets all at once.

Nah, I think there's a lot more you can do with the 3D plane. Side scrollers might not all be the same, but there's a bigger sense of repetition to them for me.

I agree. Especially if it gets much more chaotic. 2-3 hits of health would help make it feel alright taking some crazy risks. They can still make the bosses hit hard if they want.

The game looks great. I guess I'll try to remember it when/if it ever gets finished.

broforce was free not that long ago and it looks like not much has changed.

Yeah, that about sums it up. It's a pretty fun game.

Sometimes I really wish the Giant Bomb guys would at least watch a trailer before they quick look a game. If they did for this one they would have realized a ton of stuff they could do that they missed. Like using the beehives, or riding the pigs.

I was never resistant to the game, but I fully agree that the Judge Dredd inclusion is wayyy rad.
