I'm glad they've gone back to stuff like this for the past two years.

These enemies to seem very Lovecraftian to me.

In addition to Crimson Land, Jydge and Neon Chrome, The devs also did Time Recoil which was pretty good.

I love the premise.

I like to think there is an alternate reality in which Lovecraft stayed away from being racist and became as beloved a horror writer as Poe. Lovecrafts take on horror fiction is really cool. But my god his views on race/culture are a real-life horror.

Game looks fun though, Loved what I played of crimsonland and this seems to scratch that itch, with a bit more structure maybe?

@faridmon: They certainly seem at home in the genre.

I recommend reading "The Lurking Horror" and "The Rats in the Walls" if you don't want to sleep well tonight.

Uhh. I'd argue he's just as popular/famous as Poe nowadays.

Whose relationship to his 14 year old cousin was also questionable.

I loved Crimsonland, and this looks awesome!

We're all products of our time and location.
I like to think that most of our current views will be considered pretty repugnant in 50-100 years as well. As a culture we should always be improving.

Can't wait to listen to podcasts while I play this.
