Thought of this after the fact, in terms of fun Japanese TV shows I would also highly recommend that Jeff/people in general check out "run for money". Around 20 random talents/celebs each episode get like a dollar per second they can elude the "chasers" in a fairly large park-like environment, with fun twists/mini-games throughout. Iirc there was a shitty western knockoff a couple years ago that also wasn't nearly as good.

VS Arashi has been showing on Australian TV (SBS) for a little while now. One of the better japanese game shows to watch.

XCOM 2 only improved the terrain and variety of the terrain. The core of the game got worse. I wanted branching talent trees with multiple points allowed into skills. That game was a giant let down for me. So disappointed.

I completely disagree. They had a chance to deepen the core of the game, the soldiers. They did it with the guns and items and the look of the soldiers to a certain degree. But man, they really missed the mark on the talent tree. I wanted the to make it a true RPG style talent tree and leveling system similar to a Blizzard game or a D&D 3.5+ ruleset.

The terrain, looks much better, the variety of the terrain is better, the customization of the look of the soldiers is better, but it felt like an expansion, not a full game.

It has a shady dev. Bought the game sometime in 2015, came back to it very recently to find my purchase did not cover the game since it was put up on Steam, the Steam version was arbitrarily marked up two or three fold, my original purchase of the game was seemingly and suddenly now out of date as the dev decided to revise what I actually purchased after the fact and for those in my shoes he attempts to sell access to the versions on Steam going ahead at substantial additional cost. As far as I'm concerned, that dev is blacklisted.

Americans talking about Pizza like they know what they are talking about, actually hillarious. I've been to Naples in Italy and eaten pizza there. I've also eaten pizza in america. Let me tell you, you don't know what you're talking about when it comes to pizza if based on the pizza made there.

That said, authentic Italian pizza ruined pizza for me here in Sweden as well for a few years, even though it's far closer to the actuall thing then what's sold as pizza in america. I doubt the japaneese are fucking it up much worse then the americans are.
