Like clockwork, Jason mentions the video resetting to the beginning if you switch to high, just as I was switching to high to see if the bitrate was better. Time to restart!

@onemanarmyy: oh ok, fair enough. Yeah normally the live stream stuff doesn't effect the archive but oh well.

Definitely some color space issue going on, and the buzz is a bummer. Hopefully these issues get ironed out going forward.

I think I said this last week but damn what's up with the audio issues in almost every single West video? There is some noise in the background of these that is very audible. East is fine and of course other videos.

I like this style of show. It's nice to have a roundup of indie stuff on Steam occasionally.

About that Shadows of the Empire release: It's really too bad when an old game's UI doesn't scale properly at higher resolutions.

Hearing a buzz on PS4 browser. Last UPF also had buzz when I watched vod on PC using Chrome a week ago!

@philscorpio: @libb: I second this, I haven't watched an entire UPF for a long time. I love the GBW crew, but i find the one off shows and other features a lot more entertaining. Shows like TNT, or something new would be welcome. I generally feel that GBE has a better flow and shows, but that comes down to preference.

Those cutscenes in Shadows of the Empire tripped me out. I played the N64 version to death and had no idea those existed.

I fully understand that others have already commented on this, but I feel I need to just so the GB crew has a higher chance of noticing. There is a noticeable static/buzzing sound underlying the whole video.

Maaaaan, that Momodora game sure sounds a lot like Hyper Light Drifter. The sound effect for swinging you sword is nearly identical. That dying animation is also extremely similar.

@inresurrection: While I can't say for certain, both games came out in March of 2016 so its possible those similarities are largely coincidental. Plus, both games have a kind of Dark Souls meets BLANK vibe, with Light Drifter being Dark Souls meets Zelda, and Momodora being Dark Souls meets Metroid/Symphony of the Night. So, I could see some design and aesthetic decisions converging due to similar interests.

I honestly remember the bomb cast starting almost every time with laughter and random conversations and RYANS laugh :/ now its like segment segment emails done

I also have no issues with Pocket Casts and premium feeds. It's a pain and archaic but doable...

Especially if your password is auto generated by password manager and is 10+ characters long

With these videos getting higher and higher definition, I'd be constantly worried about being on camera with all these closeups every two seconds. It's not like they have a makeup department.... or DO they? *dramatic eyebrows*

@gloobus:I mean, they are still getting settled with all their new equipment. It seems as though there is still some work to be done but it's hardly the fault of the cameras; I'm sure it's just an issue of figuring out the new software.

Burly Men at Sea seemed pretty awesome. Really enjoy the writing and art-style.

It's the new cameras. They need to work on lighting or filter effects to make it look nicer.

Pocketcasts works fine with premium podcast feeds for me.

So tired of Jeff shitting on Binding of Isaac whenever it's brought up because it lacks diagonal shooting. The core of the game depends on 4 way shooting. The room layout and enemy attacks depend on you being limited to 4 directions and having to stand on the same plane as an enemy to shoot at it. It saddens me that nobody on GB likes the game. :/

Washed out for me too, even on my IPS monitor.

Kind of related - I believe the BBC put out a Star Wars radio drama back in the day. I listened to it a few years ago while at work. It was OK (I'm not a big Star Wars fan really but it was recommended to me). That franchise has really permeated every media format, huh?
