It is great that Will Smith has appeared again and mentioned San Antonio. Mr. Cultural Elitist disparaging Texas was disappointing. Sorry but Austin is not going stretch out to become the entire state. Sure Texas has its problems but what other states don't?

The only multiplayer Doom I want is Co-op. So I can recreate playing through Doom 2 with my brother like back in the day.

The new Doom multiplayer is NOT fast. It's slow as fuck and the FOV is too low.

Am I the only one who doesn't think that new Doom is "fast like a Doom game?" Like, it's fast compared to the contemporary shooter, sure, but this still looks like molasses compared to Doom-ass Doom. Am I crazy?

@dinkydoomer: @superkenon:yeah, i want to like it, and it looks pretty good still as a shooter in general, but so far none of it really rings true as classic Doom. I think the problem being is they couldn't justify full price for something so retro and stripped down maybe, so they have to make it more ornate and modern than they probably want. Or people would be put off by something so "basic" and back to its roots. Or they don't really have a fucking clue what they're doing with Doom (i keed... maybe...).

The thought of Drew playing through all of the Final Fantasy games stressed me out a little.
