They did say that they only had access to one console (PS4). Is it available there? If so, perhaps they don't have a PS4 copy? Or would just rather come to that game with several distractions?

Jak X was hard as balls. Don't know whether I would go as far as to say it's terrible, but the AI balancing was quite fucked up and the rubberbanding was truly atrocious.

Jeff looked extremely concerned when Brad started talking about his headphones.

Edit: Bummed that they didn't look at any of the story stuff for Twisted Metal Black. It's as serious as the other games are goofy and their dedication to just being a total fucking bumer is awesome. I remember really liking Yellowjacket's story bits, as well as Axel and Dollface(?).

@faridmon: I've been replaying it on PS4 for the first time in many years. Yeah, it doesn't hold up as well as I'd remembered. It is extremely hard and unfair at times because of how truly awful the rubberband AI tends to be. The biggest problem is just the way the vehicles handle. They tend to spin out of control and slide and flip over for absolutely no reason at random times. No, the game ain't terrible by any means and there's a still a lot of fun to be had with it, but it has some issues that make it hard to go back to. I'll still praise the track design and sense of speed, though.

Vectorman 1 was one of my favorite games on the Genesis. And I can't believe you didn't blow up the Sega logo at the start of the game :P

Going through that Genesis collection on PC a while back was really informative. I really wanted to like Revenge of Shinobi because the aesthetic is incredible but the actual gameplay felt pretty clunky and frustrating. Keeping the enhanced sword behind a powerup and kunai/melee on the same button both held the game back in my experience.

For my money the two games on that collection that are genuinely great to play now are Gunstar Heroes and Streets of Rage 2. Discovering that and having this library for reference makes this collection worth it.

Also, when it's done well that FM synethesis chip can be amazing but when it's not (which is most of the time) ooh boy.

Did no one else catch that the intro to Crackdown said "destory" instead of "destroy"

I appreciate Jeff's expression at 1:42:44 when Brad jumps into Revenge of Shinobi without doing the infinite shuriken cheat.
