This was lots of fun. Surprised not only that Jeff's phone tethering to the Switch worked but that I also managed to connect to his games. Didn't expect that random Switch friend invite I sent to Jeff when he released it on Twitter would ever amount to anything, but this was worth it.

Shame the servers for Fortnite were busted. I wanted to see what that game is like.

I would consider an ultrawide but I use my other monitor to play PS4/Switch/etc.

BTW the Razer keyboard is rad (using it atm). Keys are large enough for my fat fingers so I don't make (many) mistakes and it's got just enough of the clicking/crunchy key noises to make it satisfying as FUCK. plus some awesome lighting options (had a profile that reacted to typing but have been lazy and not set it up since last reformatting.).

The part about the housing and landlords made USA sound marginally terrifying to live in.

Z-Type is one of my favorite typing game, and can be played in a simple browser. I highly recommend it.

Why does Rorie hate being in the chat nowadays? Always seems to want to off-load that to Ben.

This demonstrates handily why I don't play multiplayer games.

And one of the perks of there being a new employee in an office is that everyone gets to offload the work-that-isn't-actually-part-of-their-job onto the new person; but there's never really been a new person on the West Coast that Rorie could hand chat off to (Dan's the only other non-production West Coast hire that joined after Rorie, and he both had a more established pre-GB career than Ben and seems more likely to have just said "hell no").

And that's not even his worst. (cough***Jack & Diane***)

Felt a little nerd rage brew up when Rorie started talking about GoT but I managed to clamp that dumb shit down right quick. I feel like I'm getting better about that as I get older.

I'm kinda with Jeff on this one - Since I got a mechanical keyboard (5+ years ago now) my typing has gone to shit.

@dave_tacitus: is it a cherry red, or an equivalent? those are very light keys, low actuation force and have no tactile feedback.

this makes them very snappy, you barely bump them and they already activate. pretty good for fast FPSs, not so much for typing.

Seriously with the NAT, hasn't that been an issue since Holiday of last year? They need to sort that shit out.

They mentioned that 3 panel display laptop Razer had at CES. The one that got stolen? Was that thing ever recovered? Last I heard of that thing someone found it for sale on a Chinese site but that may have been a joke listing because the picture used was from CES.
